Beautiful campsite by the Thur river. Very peaceful and perfect for relaxing in nature. The owners are lovely and super welcoming. Toilets and showers are clean and recently renovated. You can swim in the river and dogs are allowed. Great atmosphere,we’ll definitely come back!

Beautiful place without electricity, directly on the river where you can cool off. One star deducted because the site is very full, so you stand very close together. The staff are very friendly.✦Translating

One night: €22 for one person and one dog. Beautifully quiet and very dog-friendly. There is no electricity. The quietest and shadiest pitches are at the very back. A large power line runs over the river.✦Translating

Very beautiful place directly on the river. Water shoes are recommended because the riverbed is rocky. The river is not entirely safe because of some strong currents, but it is great fun to drift along. The possibility of making campfires on the riverbank is also excellent; we were able to cook with the Dutch oven. Firewood was available from the operator for five francs per half wheelbarrow. Delicious ice cream is available.✦Translating

Lovely place, warm welcome. We came by chance and stayed for two nights. A family-oriented and welcoming campsite beside a river. We would have stayed longer because it is a timeless place. If you want four-star luxury, do not come; if you want camping, it is ideal. We recommend it.✦Translating

Wonderful campsite with a child and dog for swimming and relaxing. Few mosquitoes, lots of space. Bread-roll service, clean toilets. For fresh water you need a very long hose or a watering can. Space for motorhomes up to 5 tonnes. Very nice and uncomplicated operators.✦Translating

Pleasant, family-friendly campsite with many children. You can choose your pitch. Direct access to the river. Sanitary facilities, showers, and water point freely available. The person at reception is very friendly and speaks English and French. We paid CHF 25 for one night in a standard tent, two people, and a car.✦Translating

A wonderful, uncomplicated campsite for repeat visitors from the surrounding area. Families with children especially feel very comfortable here. Nothing should be changed about the concept, although the sanitary facilities could be improved. How about charging one franc per person per day for future investments?
