167 Noordstraat, 8630, Veurne
Been here?
A new motorhome area behind Veurne sports hall, with level pitches and practical service facilities. Arrival is possible only from 12 p.m.; toilets are closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., and showers are available only from 7 to 8 a.m. The area is generally clean and quiet, with Veurne about a 10-minute walk away, although entry codes have sometimes failed.

Okay camper site for one night, relatively close to the ferry port of Dunkirk. Check-in is easy. A major drawback is the limited opening hours of the sanitary facilities: it is very inconvenient that the toilets are unavailable at night and the showers are only available between 7 and 8 in the morning.
Showers only from 7 to 8 in the morning is unacceptable! Please change this or mention it in the description above. Otherwise, the site is beautifully laid out and the service facilities are practical and spacious.
I am not impressed with the value for money. Not recommended, especially because there is no shower when you might need one. After cycling all morning or afternoon, you want to go to bed clean in the evening.
Negatives: > Difficult to get in. Code didn't work neither did print off from kiosk - we had to call. The vans behind us had same issue. Exiting we had the same problem. If this had been outside their office hours we'd have been stuck. > Showers open 1 hour at 7am only Positives > 15 min walk to town. > Spacious pitches, green. > Free electric, wifi, water > 22 euros A nice site
Clean and tidy with facilities - though note restrictions on Shower and toilet use. €22 per night with electric for VW camper. Quite, though some helicopter noise from nearby airbase (not intrusive). 10 min walk into small but nice town of Veurne, plenty of places to eat in town. Useful stopover to or from the channel ports. Entry via pre booked barcode or ticket at gate kiosk.
Great place to stop. Unfortunately a little difficult to find when we visited as the sat nav was not seeing the diversion that was in place. Clean and very quiet and only a 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Veurne. We hadn’t pre-booked but very easy process to book and then used the bar code for entry emailed to you immediately.
Automatic parking area with all motorhome services, inside a sports center where toilets and showers can be used with the code generated by the payment ticket. Unfortunately, the code did not work and the doors would not open. We tried everything, and we were not the only ones. Quiet area just a short walk from the beautiful historic center. There is a market on Wednesdays.
Well-designed area, with decent, stabilised and level pitches. We will use the service facilities tomorrow.
OK camperplatz, 1 hour or so to ports of Dunkirk / Dover. Toilets closed at night & (communal) showers only from 7-8am. Water was frozen this morning, so no fresh water or black rinse. Interlocking block surface caused our step to fall over which is potentially dangerous Not sure we'd come back
Nice area, but at this time of year you cannot fill up with water or empty the toilet—really disappointing for €16, with mandatory departure before 11 a.m. regardless of arrival time.
A lovely 2 night stay- been here many times and it is always good value. Easy to book online to reserve a space in advance. The town is very pretty too. However, whoever left before us used the drive over Grey waste disposal point for their black waste- leaving a mess. There is a perfectly good separate black waste point to use.
Easy to check in, clean, quiet and with all facilities available. Do not forget: you must have left the site by 11 a.m.! The price excludes the €1 tourist tax per person.
easy entry and exit system. we did at the gate in the hut, but you can book online. clean, tidy, and well maintained aire great for one night. very quiet and peaceful we did not use the toilets, but they were immaculate, and the showers are only open for an hour at 7am. not everyone likes to shower so early. it is tiring travelling and some like a later start. shame, it puts people off coming
Great camper site! Beautiful pitches, toilets in the sports complex, and close to all kinds of attractions. A little noise from the sports park, but it was over by around 9 p.m.
Excellent camper site, very tidy and quiet, ideally located for cycling to the coast, De Panne and Koksijde. The town of Veurne is definitely worth visiting too, and there are restaurants where you can eat very well. Toilets are available, and the showers are in the adjacent sports hall, open only at certain times and requiring a code.
Experienced the same problems as others getting entry (just needed to go into the nearby cabin and use the machine to say I'd lost the ticket). But other than that, I thought it was great for the price. Water, electricity, toilet, located only 15mins from centre of Veurne (free to go up belfry). Also a play park nearby.
Great spot when you need to catch a ferry or tunnel to and from the UK. Hard standing pitches, which are quite close together. Two toilets and a shower open for 1 hr per day!! All other services are spot on and a good price per night.
Nice, quiet, handy stopover if coming from Dunkirk or Calais. We didn't get a chance to look round the town, but would stay again to do this as it's an easy walk.
Good area, excellent, flat and quiet. Very peaceful. The barcode readers work badly and do not read the code when it is sunny. You have to shade the reader and be very patient. Do not enlarge the code; use the PDF size. The disposal area is immaculate. It would be very useful to improve and replace the barcode reader.
Nice, quiet site on the outskirts of town and, above all, reservable while travelling. We think that is great!
Very good for €18. Pay attention to the sanitary-facility opening hours.
Beautiful, quiet parking area. Level pitches, currently without shade. Water and waste facilities; toilets usable from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Showers usable only from 7 to 8 a.m. (that means at least one star deducted)—who thought of that??
Good site near the pretty town of Veurne. I have rarely experienced such clean sanitary facilities. Since many guests probably have a problem with communal showers, the two shower rooms could be separated by gender. The availability of showers only between 7 and 8 a.m. means one star deducted for me. We will gladly return.
Great difficulty getting in; we had to have the code read by the exit machine. We tried calling the listed phone number, which only answers until 5 p.m.; we arrived at 8 p.m. The showers are open only from 7 to 8 in the morning (communal and mixed). None of this is stated on their website, which is only a booking platform. In short, very disappointing....
There are only two toilets, which close from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m., and the shower is available only from 7 to 8 in the morning. The pitches are very close together.
It really is a camper site for just one night. Quiet, actually rather boring, but it has neither too much nor too little. Simply a place for travellers passing through! A real advantage is the very clean sanitary facilities.
Good site in a nice location. Book online or pay on arrival at the kiosk. Pitches 25 & 26 are great for larger RV types. 16 amp electric too. Drive over waste. 15 mins walk to town center. There's also a self service laundry in the town. Lots of restaurants too. We loved it & will definitely use it again.
Good location, spacious pitches, quiet beside the sports fields. Toilets are clean but locked at night. Showers are open only with a code between 7 and 8 a.m., in one large room with several showers and no clear separation between men and women. Few people use them. The barrier did not open with the barcode on the phone; at the payment terminal, we printed a ticket with a barcode using the “ticket lost” button.
Perfect location before an early ferry crossing. Booked in advance, with easy access by scanning the provided barcode at the gate on both entry and exit.
