Quiet parking, spaces fill quickly

Many thanks to the mayor for this welcome. Very quiet spot, with a small walk and no services, but excellent for taking a two- or three-day break.

Very quiet night. Finally, a free car park, and fortunately there was one space left. We will stay for two nights out of the possible three.

Very good place. A little noise from the scooters passing on the cycle path behind the parking area. Free electricity and a large space. We recommend it.

I am giving four stars because it would be a fantastic service with free electricity. Unfortunately, at the end of October, all the spaces are occupied by an agricultural vehicle parked horizontally. We slept in a regular parking space, but this is outrageous!

Great that Genemuiden does this for us! But more and more campers are now parking in the car park. Those are not camper spaces! It is also often full of athletes or churchgoers, and then it is really full. I can already see them complaining because they cannot park their cars, causing this campsite to be closed. That would be such a shame! So please find another campsite.

Quiet location by park. small town near. free electric points

When I arrived in the late afternoon, I was the only camper among the four spaces. Shortly afterwards, the painted mopeds could already be heard. I drove on. It is a shame that a few inconsiderate people are ruining the municipality’s generous hospitality.

Very quiet place—where else can you still get free electricity? A pleasant place to spend the night. However, the plug had been pulled out, so there was no electricity. At 7 a.m. we were woken up by grass being mowed.

We spent 72 hours in complete peace. The fact that electricity is free brings several campers in the afternoon. There are only four spaces with electricity, so I recommend arriving no later than after lunch.

Thank you to the city; it is so rare to find this kind of service. Beautiful location and peace of mind for sleeping because overnight stays are allowed. I recommend it.

Beautiful motorhome parking area with free electricity and quiet at night. You may park here for 72 hours. A green park with a large river is very close by.

Very beautiful little town, free electricity, and lots of green space for walking the dog. One point deducted because some youths ride noisy mopeds loudly around the parking areas. Very quiet at night.

Thanks to the municipality for the free parking spaces (maximum 72 hours) in the nearby little park, with opportunities for bike rides; very nice and well-maintained town, reasonably priced supermarkets. Electricity hookup. Very quiet night.

Nice place, although we were contacted by some security guards who claimed that overnight stays were not allowed here. After we showed them the signs stating a maximum of 72 hours, they said everything was fine, shook hands, and wished us a good evening.

Great place! We had a quiet night, with free electricity and a waste container. Compliments to the municipality! The spaces are large enough for 7-meter motorhomes; you can stay here comfortably.

The place is not recommended. There is construction in front, with paving stones being stored here. From 7 a.m., an excavator and trucks arrive to transport them away. A quiet night is over. At night, teenagers ride around on mopeds. Neighbors called the police because a camper allegedly photographed their house. Not welcome! Goodbye and off we went…

Mr. Driessen from the municipality of Zwartewater, which includes Genemuiden, deserves great praise. Three of the four electricity points did not work. We reported this via the municipal website. Within a few hours it was fixed! Incredible! And for a free motorhome site. Top.

Although there is currently construction work, it is a lovely place close to the center, and it is free, including electricity! Thank you, Genemuiden!
