Highway parking, severe night noise

An excellent location for visiting Nice or Monaco, as it is a five-minute walk from the train station that takes you to the centres of both cities. As others have said, it is very noisy because of the nearby motorway, but good earplugs help somewhat. As the description says, there are five spaces, but during the day and a half we stayed we saw that the other four were occupied.

We were lucky and found a space after our first outing. The place is suitable for long motorhomes, up to 7.2 metres. Payment is sometimes required, but it is well connected for trips to the beach, Monaco and Nice. At night it is very noisy because of the motorway.

You need a lot of luck to park here. There really are five motorhome spaces, one occupied by a small trailer and another by a man who lives in a nearby block and stores his motorhome here. Close to public transport. I do not recommend parking on the access streets; when we parked briefly, several residents threatened to call the police.

We found a free space and took the train to explore Nice. The station is about a ten-minute walk away. We spent one night and it was very peaceful.

It is probably fine for a short rest during the day but it is very close to busy roads and we found it to be too noisy for staying longer.

We arrived during the night on 27 December 2025. Unfortunately, all the few spaces were occupied by RVs with French registration plates, but fortunately we were able to park very close by. The spaces are well located. It would be great if the municipality could increase the number of RV spaces, even for a fee.

I was lucky and got one of the remaining spaces. It is rather cramped and very noisy, but fine for one night. The absolute highlight is the proximity to the train station. Despite the no-parking sign, we did not receive a ticket; see the pictures. Parking is also free at weekends.

Free from 5 PM to 10 AM, mostly flat, and felt safe. There is some noise, but it’s somewhat tolerable. A good spot, especially since options in the area seemed limited. Close to Nice.

Stayed here for one night recently, felt really safe and had a quiet’s night sleep.

The place is excellent for cycling to Nice. The disadvantage is that two of the spaces are occupied by permanent campers, although this does make the area relatively safe. Very noisy place. France generally has a problem with many loud motorcycles and cars.

Shortly after our arrival, a local who lives there in his caravan explained that we were not allowed to park there. He was very friendly and advised us to park in the side street. We did so to avoid causing trouble. Good starting point for a bike ride to Nice. We left again in the evening.

We were greeted immediately by the locals. One lives here in his camper and is very helpful and friendly. The train station is less than a ten-minute walk away, and Monaco is quickly accessible. It was so late that we spontaneously stayed overnight. We felt safe. One star deducted for the noise; the road noise is enormous.

Excellent place, a little noisy, where you can stay overnight without problems. Perfect because of the nearby train access for visiting Nice and Monaco. Close to a large shopping centre. No security problems. Recommended even if only for sleeping and sightseeing. We stayed two nights.

No change: only one space remained because four motorhomes have taken up permanent residence. Sergio guided us into the parking area because there is a no-entry sign and traffic in town is terrible. Fine for one night with the alarm on, but I would not leave the motorhome unattended.

Always full because of homeless people who sleep in the motorhomes as if they were their permanent homes. Nice is not prepared for motorhomes; theft and the lack of motorhome parking make Nice impossible to visit this way.

Good place to sleep. There is room for only five motorhomes from 5 pm to 10 am. A little noisy in the morning but quite comfortable. Free daytime parking is available very close by, with trains to Monaco.

Perfect for parking close to the airport, with local transport to Nice centre. A very helpful Italian man lives here permanently in his campervan. We arrived early hoping for a space, but it was busy. Later, and even on the last night, there was still room for one more.

I do not recommend this place, even though we were there on a Sunday. This city never sleeps. Constant motorway noise. Flights take off from the nearby airport. Motorcycles, scooters, buses and delivery vehicles pass continuously in front of and behind the parking spaces. The five reserved spaces were full, so we parked a six-metre van in the car spaces.

As a stopping point for visiting Nice and Monaco, nothing could be more perfect. We stayed here for three wonderful days, close to the train, bus and supermarket. There are only five spaces, but two are occupied by permanent residents. Unfortunately, but I still recommend arriving overnight to see if a space is available. The spaces are very large. Sergio, a local resident, was very attentive and taught us about the local rules.

We parked here during day time, although there seems to be a sign saying that parking is not allowed day time. There were 2 spots available out of 4 when we arrived. Worked well for us, we had no issues. One of the view spots we were able to find for a motorhome.

I have already been here once and had a good experience on arrival. There were four free spaces, but by evening it was full. Roadworks are underway on the town's main street, so buses have been diverted to the street where the motorhome parking is located. From 6 am to 9 pm, all buses to the town centre pass by, making the motorhome parking noisier than usual.

We read the comments about theft once we arrived and only stayed overnight. A fat Italian man who claimed to live there insisted in a very strange way that our dogs needed passports or we would be fined and they would be taken to the pound. However, he did not warn us about the number of thefts that had occurred. Better choose another place.

Didn’t feel right so drove off. Save yourself the risk and find somewhere else!

Never again! As soon as we arrived, the people permanently parked there in their motorhomes approached us immediately, supposedly to give us a jump start, but it was only a pretext. The second man said something was wrong with my engine and immediately wanted to fiddle with it. I drove away at once. Save yourself the trip: dirty and clearly set up to cheat and rip people off. Creepy even during the day.

Two motorhomes were burgled. A man who lives nearby and often comes to this parking area for work told me that yesterday he was in the bathroom and heard knocking on the motorhome bodywork. He barely had time to leave the bathroom before the thieves opened the cab door. Noisy parking at the motorway exit, with smog.

We arrived and there was a parking area. We only used it to visit Nice and returned at night. It is beside the road and a park. If you want to sleep, it may be very noisy with lots of cars.

Save yourself the trip.

Seemed a good place to stop but our van was broken into on the 2nd night. We were away all night so might’ve been ok if we’d been here, but the day before a young man knocked on the door with no apparent reason, while we were in, so sadly I think this site is being targeted.

The place consists of only five relatively narrow parking bays directly beside several roads and next to the motorway, so there is very loud traffic noise. All the bays were occupied when we arrived, partly by vehicles that had clearly been there for a very long time. Only recommended as an emergency overnight stop while passing through; otherwise I would avoid it.
