Been here?
This is roadside parking between two main roads, with good evening availability and generally quiet nights. Parking tickets apply Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; the meters and app may not work. A 7.20m motorhome parked there for several hours without problems, and the city and Neckar are quickly accessible. Public transport to the old town and castle takes max. 5 minutes, while a public toilet is about 200m away.

We parked our 7.20 m motorhome without problems for several hours and it is very quiet. There are not as many cars as shown in the image on the stretch between the park and the campus entrance. Ideal for visiting the city. The park is spectacular. There were parking meters, but ours did not work and neither did the app. Student atmosphere during the day. We think it is paid from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Good alternative for one night at the weekend. Between the hospital and the church, a free spot is only available with luck, but the Neckar and city center are quickly accessible and it is very quiet at night.
We went on Sunday and all the parking spaces were full on both sides of the road, often even near the bends. Absolutely unsuitable for large vehicles over 6 m: it is in a residential area, and getting out was stressful, with a risk of damaging the camper or parked vehicles. The situation was the same on the surrounding streets. We went elsewhere.
