Unnamed Road, 26270, Loriol-sur-Drôme
Been here?
A quiet, natural spot beside a canal or stream, with no height limit and enough space for larger vehicles to turn. Access includes a hollow section that can flood and cause vehicles with significant rear overhangs to become stuck in rain. Wild rubbish is present, and mosquitoes can be numerous, especially at night.

Be careful with motorhomes with a long rear overhang: you need to drive through a short dip that can easily flood, so you may get stuck in mud when it rains. One night in early June, there were lots of mosquitoes; a mosquito net is essential. And yes, there is illegal dumping. Watch out for objects lying around, such as forks and scrap metal.Translating
Illegal dumping of rubbish—such a shame.Translating
Beautiful, quiet place. Bumpy road and a dead end. We drove all the way to the end. We left the trailer attached and turned it around by hand. A VW bus and slightly larger vehicles can turn around without problems.Translating
We went 500 metres farther to a gravel area because it had rained and we were afraid of getting stuck. Very peaceful and beautiful. Mosquito problem from 2 a.m., but otherwise a nice little walk.Translating
Quiet spot near a stream. Flat ground and accessible for large vehicles; ours is 9.60 m long and 4 m high.Translating
Very quiet night in the van. No mosquitoes. The road is a few dozen metres away but not noisy. However, machines can be heard on the other side of the river, probably related to the fields. There is indeed rubbish in the bushes, which is the negative point. The river nearby is accessible on foot. A few walkers passed in the morning.Translating
Quiet pitch close to nature. The only drawback was some torn-open rubbish bins. We picked up the rubbish. So please remember to collect your waste, as there is a household rubbish container less than one kilometre away, turning left at the intersection of Route de la Poule and D104!Translating
Nice area away from the city, easy to access. Very quiet, with no noise. Ideal for one night. However, avoid leaving rubbish behind—for the sake of nature.Translating
Well hidden and peaceful, with easy access for a Volkswagen Transporter 3. Thanks for sharing! I think there must be quite a few mosquitoes in summer.Translating
Quiet place beside the road, 4G works, access to water possible, good as a backup spot. Thanks for sharing.Translating
