Bossiney Cove Campsite & Carpark

£3 during the day. £15 overnight. The location is perfect. Quiet. There are toilets, but we weren’t given the code to get in. That’s a shame. Expensive for the service, then.

Great stop over for walking and visiting the location. We arrived just after 09.00 hours and the gate was open. On the right hand side of the gate entrance is a sign with the QR code. The post holding the sign has a slot to put your cash if not using the QR code. We only parked for the day but there are porterloos and toilet just outside the gate. going to stay when next passing.

Amazing! You can fill up with water and collect drinking water; there are two chemical toilets, spotlessly clean! By asking the owner, you can also empty your camper toilet. From here you can walk to the ruins of Tintagel Castle in about 40 minutes, even with children! Right opposite are two beaches reachable on foot, going down and then back up the cliff.

Lovely site run by a very friendly chap. Simple facilities but think that’s what keeps it a quiet camper van friendly site. No set pitches. Great views. Amazing sunset. Steep walk to the beach but worth it.

Very friendly chap who also has a café in Boscastle with nice gluten-free cakes. The campsite is basic, with portaloos, water and an Elsan dump. Perfect: £15 a night and great views.

There are several places in town where you can park a motorhome, and I visited them all, but in my opinion this is the best and an excellent choice. Amazing views, storybook walks, and a great beach within reach. Quiet, yet only a short walk to the town. The owner is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. You can fill up with drinking water and, by arrangement, empty the chemical toilet. Newly added portable toilets. Safe.

Toilets have arrived! There are now two portaloos on site making this lovely spot the best possible campsite for £15 a night. A very friendly welcome from the owner.

Stayed here last night, owners very friendly and happy to give recommendations of the local area. They now have portaloos onsite but there are also public toilets not far. Beach within walking distance and the coffee caravan onsite is a lovely touch. Great views also! Can book on pitch up but rocked up on the day and spoke to the person in the coffee caravan.

Beautiful view, free choice of pitches. No sanitary facilities, but very cheap at £15.

Simple pitch without facilities for filling or emptying, except fresh water, with fantastic coastal surroundings and a magnificent view! Good hiking opportunities to Tintagel. An absolute highlight of our motorhome tour in 2026!

Planned on staying for 2 nights but stayed for 6. It’s a lovely peaceful site with amazing views. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return

Great park up, nice owner. 2 adults, 1 dog and the van on a large pitch for £15 I think is excellent, only place we have ever found cheaper was £12 & that was in wales

Beautifully situated on the cliffs with a sea view. From 7 p.m. the gate is closed and you can only leave using a code. It is opened again at 7 a.m. The landowner charges £15. It was worth it to me for the safe, peaceful night and beautiful view. He has put up a portable toilet, and there is an ice-cream van where you can also pay the pitch fee.

Been stopping here for years now, usually for 2-3 nights, 4 times a year when it’s open, grass and being on a slope = mud ruts , definitely need levelling ramps. Sadly the price increase from £5 to £15 is ridiculous, especially when there’s no facilities including water, 3 car parks in Tintagel are £8 for 24 hours also with grass parking. Front field in town is £5. Won’t be stopping here again.

Its a lovely spot, quite exposed if its windy but right on the coast path with spectacular sunsets. It was £5 a night last year but now £15 a night. It is a bit steep for a place with absolutely no facilities, not even water. Most other travellers are respectful and friendly. There is a tea van in the summer. A nice, if expensive place to spend a night.

Amazing campsite, £5 overnight stay if you are self-sufficient, with a van or motorhome equipped with a toilet. Stunning views and lovely walks nearby. The owners are brilliant.

What lovely owners! What a great site! I've spent a few nights here and I've simply loved it. Cheap, hassle-free, friendly, fantastic views. If it's full (or closed if it's wet), there's a similar set up in Tintagel, on the bend on Atlantic Road, just before the Camelot Castle Hotel. It's also, just a fiver (I tried to add it to P4N, but it wasn't possible)

Great stop just outside of Tintagel, very cheap and upon our arrival, pretty busy. Unfortunately we did not stay for the evening as unless you have chocks (levellers) you will be unlevel, the only level spot was at the very end of the field, which was taken. Several vans like us left due to the unlevel ground. No amenities, patchy mobile signal.

Meadow site with a magnificent view. For us, the best place to stay in Tintagel. You must be self-sufficient, as there are no facilities. We cycled into Tintagel, 5 minutes, and down to the beach, which is steep. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. You can also access the coastal path here. The owner comes around 7 p.m. to collect £5. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view and access to an interesting coastal walking path. We had the pleasure of enjoying the village festival parade. We arrived around midday and left late in the morning; the owner never came by. We felt awkward spending the night for free!

Absolutely incredible views. A very close walk down to the coves. still only £5 a night for 2 people. Remember only campers with toilets allowed as per their licence.

Stayed here for 4 nights, lovely scenery. Close to the coastline and paths . Enjoyed the walks to Tintagel then to Boscastle. Rocky Valley is beautiful. At night gates locked. Not an issue when you have been given the gate code. Nearest pubs are in Tintagel about 10mins walk on the road. You do have to be self efficient on this site with your own toilet. Really enjoyed my stay.

Great stay, easy access to beach and good for large vehicles. Really great cheap option. It was busy when we went due to half the campsite being booked but you can hang around till the day visitors leave and get a spot. £5 cash for overnight stay. Tintagle a shot walk or bike ride away.

Absolute bargain, £1 during the day (honesty box) & £5 overnight (collected by owner before gates are shut). Stunning views and coastal walks.

I usually only give a 5th star to somewhere that's not only amazing, but also free. However, this place deserves commending for being just £5, in a sector that sees so much greed these days! Owner was friendly, was a peaceful night, and Bossiney Cove is stunning. Ignore the 'path closed' signs and go for a swim....just remember to look up as you walk down there!

Fantastic place to stay, view is amazing. The field s split into two parts. The upped section, slightly sloping for day visitors, the lower flatter section ( if it is open - may not be in wet weather) is for overnight stays. Still £5 per night. Easy 15 minute flat walk into Tintagel, or a mote challenging 3.5mile walk along the coast path to Boscastle- but you can get the bus back!

Meh! The supervisor essentially micromanaging how we parked, insisted that we park exactly as she preferred. Even though we parked in a normal and respectful manner, she still asked us to reposition our camper, this also happened to our friend’s camper and they were parked inconveniently next to us. Given that the lot was nearly empty, this request felt unnecessary/uncomfortable, uneven ground.
