Paid daytime parking, no overnight

Excellent parking for a very interesting visit to the Villa Romana del Casale. However, two remarks: 1. With our California, the parking ticket showed “Car,” but at the exit the cashier tried to charge us the motorhome rate. 2. Admission to the villa is €14, but they automatically sell you an additional €3 ticket allowing visits to three museums or churches, even if you are not interested.✦Translating

I confirm that you cannot sleep in the villa parking lot; you may stay only for the duration of the visit. In the motorhome area there is an electricity post, but as of today it is not yet active. If you arrive in the afternoon and plan to sleep in the area, return to the city center and use the Ippolito parking lot near the stadium.✦Translating

Be careful not to get caught out like I did: I entered the site too late to visit and left again within fifteen minutes. The cost was €5 for entering plus €1.50 for the hour that had begun. Welcome, tourists!✦Translating

Well-organized parking for every type of vehicle, from motorcycles to coaches, but I had hoped it would be free for visitors to the historic site, as at Segesta and Selinunte. Considering that admission costs €17, we spent another €10 on parking. Do not miss the Villa Romana del Casale; it is a fantastic site.✦Translating

Excellent parking for visiting the villa, large, shaded and with a water fountain. In the evening, however, they made us leave because they said sleeping there was not allowed. We moved to the large stadium parking lot in the city: wonderful view over the city, and the center is only a few minutes' walk away!✦Translating

The daytime parking is very good, and also suitable for the night, although signs say it is only allowed during the day. Reading the reviews, we thought €20 for two days was excessive. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. for the evening visit and the barriers were raised. At 7:20 a.m., the ten cars that had slept here left in a hurry, and we followed. €5 for the first hour, then €1.50 for each subsequent hour. Overnight stays are not allowed. There is a water fountain with good flow, but it has a push button without a thread. There are some grates that people have used for disposal, including gray water; I do not know whether this is appropriate. The villa is fantastic!✦Translating

After asking at the ticket office, I received the following information: Overnight stays may be tolerated. Parking is charged by calendar day, not by 24 hours. For example, arriving at 4 p.m. and staying until 10 a.m. the next day costs €20 because the day ends at midnight. First hour €5, each additional hour €1.50, maximum €10.✦Translating

Convenient for visiting this must-see attraction in Sicily. The parking lot closes at 4:30 p.m. off-season. It is divided into three areas, one for motorhomes, although coaches and cars park there too. There appears to be an electrical hookup; ask at the ticket office. Paid toilets.✦Translating

The daytime motorhome spaces are marked at the very back of the parking lot. There is a clearly marked water tap here. I paid €10 for the duration of the visit, departing at 2 p.m. Toilets are available in the shopping area at the entrance to the parking lot. Perfect for visiting this very surprising villa.✦Translating

Nice and clean parking space, but overnight parking is not allowed. Closes at 19:30 in summer time, 16:30 during the winter months. 10 € will be almost always reached when visiting the Villa Romana de Casale, as it easily takes three hours to get through the whole exhibit.
