Camping municipal de la Tarentaine

Great municipal campsite, very quiet and very clean. A small, lovely cold river nearby where we and the dogs could cool off. We will come back. Thanks to the municipality and its staff.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were lucky to be practically alone at the campsite. Very pleasant beside a river.

It is worth the detour. Admittedly, September is quiet, but the pitches are really great. Everything is perfectly maintained, including the old-fashioned sanitary facilities. Perfectly hot water. Very convenient for starting cycling routes in the area. Excellent pastry chef in the village. An unbeatable price!! €14 per night for two people, a motorhome and electricity.

Great campsite! We spent a night here during a heatwave and it was wonderfully refreshing! Riverside or the municipal swimming pool next door, take your pick. Enough sanitary facilities for everyone and very clean, with lovely shaded pitches.

The campsite is open from 1 June to 15 September. Indeed, there is no service area for motorhomes, but one is planned for 2025! Worth discovering. Great welcome and a very quiet place with spacious pitches and access to the river.

We received a very warm welcome at this lovely campsite with large, well-maintained spaces! Clean sanitary facilities, and the peace and quiet with the gentle sound of the river are very enjoyable! €11 per night in a van is unbeatable! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for simplicity and tranquillity!

WARNING: this campsite is not equipped for motorhomes. There is no disposal point for black or grey water, and dumping into the toilets is forbidden. Otherwise, very good and very clean. Flat pitch with electricity. Path to the village (500 m). Children's playground. Large heated municipal swimming pool nearby. The stream is beautiful.

Very disappointed with this campsite. At first it seems quiet, but it is actually between two busy roads, and the campsite is not very peaceful because some dog owners do not respect the rule requiring dogs to be kept on a lead at their pitch and around the campsite. Shade only in the morning and evening; full sun the rest of the day. The river smells of mud. We will forget this place.

I was here 35 years ago… It has evolved but kept its peaceful spirit. No possibility of dumping or other services. Clean sanitary facilities and an exceptionally friendly welcome. Ideal for those who enjoy peace and simplicity. Municipal swimming pool three minutes’ walk away. Nice pizzeria a little farther on; too bad the bakery is closed.
