Great spot for wild camping with beautiful views of the mountains and the river. Remember to keep dogs on a leash, as there are grazing animals in the area. Please respect that this is a nature camp where people come to enjoy the peace and quiet. Avoid parking right next to others. There are plenty of spots to choose from here without ruining the idyll for others.
Free camping (no facilities yet) run by two lovely, hardworking people. For just 100 NOK you can choose one of the gravel pitches and still be almost completely secluded. At night, from the rooftop tent, we saw moose walking past! One stopped for a moment and then continued on. People really need to learn to clean up and take their rubbish with them.
Top of the top, surrounded by nature, forest and river, with views of the surrounding mountains.
Many places, close to the river. The road is not very busy and can be heard a little. Strategic location for beautiful Grimsdalen and Doralsaeter. This spot is also listed differently on Park4night, but it is the same place. You can drive a little farther along the road.
