Been here?
Riverside spot with natural pool and pebble beach, historically popular. However, as of July 2026 the access road is blocked by fence. June 2026 reports cite heavy mosquitoes, gendarmerie visits, and sudden flood risk. Earlier visitors noted road noise until mid-morning.

Place full of mosquitoes. Visit from the police. Wild camping is dangerous due to sudden flooding. Not great.Translating
Very nice place to spend some time! We were there with two vans, went swimming, great for dogs, and had quiet nights.Translating
Great place as described below. Very easy access to the water from the spot on the left. Yes, you can hear the road behind, but you can also hear the gentle lapping of the river. Two areas are deep enough for a little swimming, with water up to the waist; I am 1.73 m tall. Ideal setting. Please pick up your rubbish, including dog mess, and think of the campers arriving after you.Translating
Wonderful spot beside the river. Natural pool and large pebble beach. A children’s paradise. You can hear the road until 11 p.m., then it becomes very quiet. We had an excellent night. With our 6 m van we parked closest to the water, but if your vehicle is longer it is possible to park beside it.Translating
Nice place, but the road is extremely noisy and busy, in my opinion.Translating
A genuinely very nice spot; the Aygues is still flowing, so you can cool off! Access is quite possible with a 7 m vehicle, contrary to previous reviews, and you can even turn around if you are reasonably skilled. Beware of wasps—I was attacked by a swarm nesting directly in the ground. Please leave the place clean and, above all, do not light fires; the vegetation is extremely dry.Translating
We spent a peaceful night. The dog was able to swim in the river and play ball. We swam too. The road is very quiet at night. From 7 in the morning, you can hear the occasional car.Translating
In one word: brilliant. We finished the day with swimming and relaxation, followed by a great night.Translating
Great spot, perfect for a van. All alone and with direct access to the river for cooling off. The road is behind us but not bothersome.Translating
I love this spot, but forget about putting your motorhome near the water as in the photo—I really don’t know how they managed it! More suitable for vans; large motorhomes can forget it.Translating
Nice, away from the road, with a night without traffic noise. Space for one vehicle. Quiet night with the sound of the river. You can eat on the pebbles; the river is very accessible. A good night.Translating
