This campsite lies on the shores of Mellajärvi Lake between Ylitornio and Rovaniemi and is open 1.1.-31.12. It has a child-friendly beach, restrooms, kitchen and sauna included in the price, with a host on call in summer and self-service at other times. Daily saunas are separated for men and women, while the smoke sauna is heated on Friday and Saturday. A washing machine and drying cabinet are available for a fee, and fishing, a boat, berries and mushrooms are available around the forested site.

This campsite belongs to an association and is lovingly and neatly run by its members. There is always someone available to help. The daily sauna sessions, separated for men and women, are especially nice. On Fridays and Saturdays the smoke sauna is heated. Access to the lake is very convenient. I paid €37 for a motorhome, one person and a dog, including everything.
