221 Carrer Major, 43879, Els Muntells
Been here?
This spacious sand-and-gravel parking area is suitable for a quiet overnight stop of one or two days. It has benches, tables, a nearby bar and park, plus sinks, toilets, barbecues, water and waste emptying. Some facilities are scattered or precarious, and the toilets may be closed in the low season. The area can fill quickly at night and is often shared with many other vehicles.

There is currently a portable bullring set up on that open area; it seems the town festival is approaching. We went to the only shop they have, and it is not worth it—four products at exorbitant prices. It is worth going to Deltebre, where there are Mercadona, Lidl, Aldi, and others.
Very good place to combine with a day at L’Eucaliptus beach and the surrounding area. Rubbish container, water filling, and emptying facilities. Gray and black water are emptied in the same place; it is somewhat makeshift, requiring you to lift a manhole cover at the school entrance. There is a dishwashing area and barbecue, but no grills. A playground for the children. Perfect for passing through, as there is no shade.
We spent a very good and peaceful night with other motorhomes. My children played in the park. There is a bar in the park. Washing sinks and water filling. Quiet village. On August 7, the fair takes place and the area will be closed to motorhomes. The site is gravel because in summer it becomes the bullring. Lots of mosquitoes in July because it is surrounded by rice fields. Mosquito nets are necessary.
Just a large dusty lot.
A good parking area for staying one or two days. There is a fountain, washing sinks, and barbecues. Let’s be respectful and not camp; this is only a quiet area. Thanks to the town council for thinking of us, but let’s not start removing chairs and tables—we know how this goes.
Quiet. There are facilities for emptying and water, but you have to look for them because everything is somewhat scattered. Bike ride 6 km to the Mediterranean Sea. Beware, it is very windy at this time of year.
Very, very quiet, but beware! At night it is packed, so you have to arrive early!
We spent one night and it was very quiet. Everything was fine. We shared the space with many other vehicles. There is a bar and a park next door. An area for washing dishes.
Beautiful parking area, quiet, with many excursion opportunities, such as watching flamingos. There are toilets, water, and a nice barbecue area next door. In the off-season, however, the toilets are closed. Still recommended :)
Spacious parking area, access for 19-ton trucks is fine. Taps and barbecue available. Good for a quiet stopover.
Quiet and safe place next to the village. You can fill up with free water. It is dirt but fairly level, suitable as a stopover for sleeping, but not much more.
We spent two very good nights, peacefully, with many motorhomes and vans. There are dishwashing sinks, toilets, and barbecues. No filling or emptying services. It is a good area to leave the vehicles and go out by bicycle to explore the region. Ideal if you need nothing more than a place to sleep.
Good place to camp. There is a barbecue and a sink for washing dishes. You can fill up with water. It is free.
No services, a short distance from the Ebro Delta. Thanks to the Easter period, there were about 60 vans everywhere.
Very good place to sleep if you want to visit the delta. It is level, quiet, and on the outskirts of the village, with no services.
A bit bleak to park here. Very quiet and safe at night, but unlit, with a few streetlights at the entrance. Internet via LTE is very slow and unsuitable for working while traveling. Nice bike ride to the sea, initially on a cycle path from the site. I would come back for that.
It's alright for a free spot. Nothing special, just a flat area with a bar nearby. The walk to the beach is cool, but I've definitely seen better. I'd only use it again if I had no other choice.
Quiet night, water available, would gladly return.
Good place to sleep in this part of the delta; quiet night. There is a small shop nearby, and it also sells bread.
A little run-down but very good. There are taps with water available. Cycle path to the beach. Children’s games and a small bar-restaurant. Drawbacks: there is construction during the day, so it is very noisy.
Ideal for spending one or two nights in the Ebro Delta. There is enough space and it is quiet. In summer it fills up quickly.
Nice quiet park-up. Level parking area. Small shop on the main street, and there is also a restaurant/bar. Very friendly locals.
Simple, charm-free parking area on the edge of the village. Piles of dirt cover part of the parking area, and the toilets are closed, so we left.
No special charm, but spacious, convenient, and very quiet. There are no rubbish bins, but it costs nothing to take rubbish to one of the many containers in the village. Thank you very much for this space!
Great for getting water; there are even sinks.
Good place to sleep peacefully. There is a park for the children nearby.
At the moment there is a large mound of earth due to work in the area. A few spaces are still available if you arrive early. Quiet place.
Large area of compacted dirt. No problem with space. Convenient for visiting the small town and the Ebro Delta by bicycle. There are no services, but it is still worthwhile for a stopover. Very quiet at night.
Quiet and well located for a free spot.
Tap water is fine, quiet, enough space.
A quiet place; watch out because there are several playful cats. Highly recommended.
Pleasant and interesting place to spend the night, ideal with bikes. No services - and yes, there’s still mosquitos ! So don’t leave your doors open too long …
Great for spending the night and exploring the surroundings
Perfectly fine for one or two nights and exceptionally quiet. Just a parking area, with a drinking-water fountain around the corner. Original Spanish village with a bar and mini-market. If you are looking for wide views and countless wading birds, this is the place. The eucalyptus beach is not far, whether by bicycle or on foot. Thank you and best regards.
Very quiet, spacious place. You can get water and there is a nice bar next to the parking area. There is a small shop in the village. Lovely for cycling. Thanks to the community for tolerating us.
Cool place! Very tight roads on approach through the farming but nice and peaceful stop. Not much going on in the town clearly a small farming community.
