This large free parking area behind Inflatanation is spacious and quiet, and overnight stays have been made there. Toilets are available at Royal Quays shopping centre during opening hours, which also has cafés, shops and a microbrewery. Several buses and a metro station are 15 minutes away. It is useful before the ferry or for supplies afterwards, while the nearest waste disposal point is at Backworth Hall Aire.

Great place. Lots of space and really quiet. I would gladly come back.
Stayed in the car park at back of Brewers fayre Royal keys near the inflatable park, with several work vans, asked in the pub if it's OK to park up and stay the night, the young lad said there should be no problem but the car park was nothing to do with them. so had a pint and a pizza and Stayed over, no worries and very quiet. Only 4 stars the car park is a bit scruffy. also next to cycle 72
