Been here?
Campsite near the Dolomites and the Großglockner high alpine road, with a swimming pool and beautiful mountain views. Recent experiences describe the site as poorly maintained, with a waste-yard feel and flies from the neighbouring horse-riding facility. Other facilities have been described as clean and renovated, but shower coupons are required for change. Pitches may be large, shaded and level.

that was one of the poorest and worst value camping experiences ever.67 EUR for one night (family of 4).The site looks like no one has invested in it for 20y and you get a real waste yard feel. As a bonus you get flies all over tha place thanks to next door horse riding place which also gives you a nice 6am wake up when they start cleaning the stables. And to finish it up there is cash only payment
Stayed from 29 June to 8 July: caravan, 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Paid €44 per night. Included are showers and 3 kWh per day with ACSI. Excellent sanitary facilities, very clean. Extremely pleasant owner. Lovely pool that is cleaned often. Short distance to many hiking opportunities. Quiet and peaceful campsite. We will definitely return!
Very warm welcome at reception. It is true: do not judge the campsite by the entrance. Behind it, it is superb. The pitches are large and shaded. The pool is spotless and the sanitary facilities in the basement of the manor are new and very clean.
I absolutely cannot agree with the previous comments! The pool water is very clean and refreshing; the showers in the main building’s basement are newly renovated, or at least look that way, and with ACSI, shower tokens were included! Overall, after entering, it is very quiet, beautiful and tidy.
Very quiet campsite with few people at this time of year. We paid €40.60 per night for one van, electricity and a shower token. Do not judge it by the entrance: the campsite is behind it, with a pool and motorhome services. Clean sanitary facilities, free and level pitch.
Really nice, pleasant campsite with friendly owners. I do not understand why some people make such a fuss in their reviews. The front area is somewhat chaotic, okay, but the pitches and sanitary facilities are clean.
Someone wrote here that anyone who likes rustic surroundings will feel at home. We can only confirm that. It looks like the Flodders’ place. The pool water was green and cloudy, so we drove on.
First of all, I would order a very large rubbish container and clear out the area around and inside reception. The bathrooms and the rest of the building are not very clean, and not all showers work. There has simply been an investment backlog for what feels like 20 years. The pitches are very nice, some with a great view of the Dolomites. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If you like rustic places, this is for you.
The location is excellent; that is the only reason I am giving two stars. The entrance to the campsite is completely cluttered, rubbish is everywhere and everything seems rather uncared for. The sanitary facilities are old, partly defective and dirty everywhere. A shame, because the grounds could be even more beautiful if the operators made more effort. The price is far too high. I hope something changes; then we would gladly return.
Park-like grounds with numbered pitches under and among old trees; that atmosphere is what sustains the site. But everything else has aged as well, and the sanitary facilities need extensive renovation. Previous improvements are unfinished and sloppy, and cleanliness is inconsistent. The entrance and reception area are an untidy, careless mess. More than €52 for a motorhome with two people is too much. Positive: the public bus stops a few metres from the site.
Very nice place with a mountain view. Friendly people and a horse-riding school right next door, so you can occasionally hear the horses neighing. They say cash only, but make big foreigner eyes and they will bring out the card terminal. €36 for one person with a car, without electricity. €0.80 for a five-minute shower.
The campsite is very nice, with clean showers and toilets. Shaded, with a beautiful pool. The actual price in August for one night was €50 for two people and a van. Extra shower: €0.80 for five minutes. After I pointed out that the price on Park4Night was considerably lower, the receptionist said he did not know the app. Hmm.
Once past the very chaotic and run-down entrance and reception, the campsite is very nice. The showers, toilets and dishwashing area are clean. Always hot water. Showers require a token, but you can take a comfortably hot shower. Easy to reach Lienz by bike. There is a small children’s area, but many toys are broken. The pool is nice, although not heated.
We visited in summer 2023 and it was a fantastic holiday! A very kind host who helped us in every way. We travelled with two tents, three children and a dog. We greatly enjoyed the view and excursions in the area and would definitely like to return again!
Slightly dated campsite, especially the entrance area, which looks neglected. The pitches, however, are on grass, mostly level and shaded; the facilities are functional and clean, with token-operated showers but a strong flow. Beautiful pool. Superb view of the Dolomites. Convenient for reaching Lienz on foot, by bicycle or by bus, free with the campsite card. €118 for two nights, three people and one motorhome—quite expensive.
The best pitches are at the top of the campsite, with a beautiful view of the mountains. You can regularly hear a horse neighing. Lienz is a beautiful city and within cycling distance. We paid €66.40 for three people including electricity. We think this is really too much for what is offered. You also have to buy shower tokens.
Campsite equipped with all comforts. The setting is splendid, with the Dolomites welcoming you in their embrace. Very clean, spacious pitches for motorhomes, with water filling and emptying facilities. Cost: €41.40 for two people with electricity. The only downside was difficulty paying by credit card.
I agree the reception area is untidy, full of paperwork, the buildings & area around it are scruffy & give a bad impression BUT all the plots and facilities are around the back of the villa, the toilets and showers are in the basement, all are spotless as was the kitchen & pool area. We paid €37.40 for 2 people plus €4.00 for electric. Quiet with only occasional car on the village roads behind.
Very friendly, uncomplicated, clean showers. Bring 20-cent and 1-euro coins for tokens. Dog-friendly. Nice trip to Lienz, on foot or by bus. We will return.
Very beautiful, peaceful campsite on the well-maintained park-like grounds of an old villa. Nice operators, friendly and uncomplicated reception. Impeccable sanitary facilities. Fair price: €33 per night for a van and two people, including electricity and two shower tokens. About 10 minutes on foot to central Lienz via a meadow path.
We arrived on 23 November at 9 p.m.; there was nobody there. We parked wherever we wanted since we were the only ones. In the morning we went to pay, but there was still nobody. We left an envelope with €30 because we did not even know the price and based it on the prices shown in the app. Very close to the city centre. We had a good stay, perhaps because it was out of season.
