Chemin de la Chapelle, 76680, Rosay
Been here?
Isolated wild forest spot accommodating 5–6 motorhomes on a stony access road. Extremely calm day and night with owls at dusk. Access narrow and uneven; do not use Waze for directions. Shaded forest walks nearby. Independent travelers only; no services.

Very quiet location, two vans with us. Woken by the sound of little birds. I recommend it.
Very quiet place at the edge of the forest, at the end of a gravel road. Possibility of shade or sun. Picnic table 10 meters farther, with the possibility of a short walk in the forest. Be self-sufficient, as there are no services.
Long gravel road before reaching the destination, not very flat, somewhat exposed to the wind, but really very quiet and isolated.
Very quiet spot in the forest! No noise. There is also a beautiful walk to take.
Extremely quiet day and night; in the evening, only the owls can be heard. Unfortunately, Sunday was hunting day and the parking area was full of hunters, so I left.
Spent an excellent night here, expected to be all alone this time of year but there was another camper van with 2 very friendly Londoners. So, a nice place with a nice chat! In the morning some locals arrived to walk their dog.
Superb spot! We are 9m long by 3.5m high but still made it up the narrow lane. Wonderful night’s sleep listening to the owls as we drifted off and as we woke up. In the morning took a short walk to the Chapelle Saint Etienne which was so cute hidden in the forest.
Fantastic, absolute peace and quiet at the end of September in the middle of nature; at night, only the sounds of nature, alone in the world.
The road there is somewhat rocky, but the spot is beautifully located. Hiking routes are signposted nearby. We had the company of three other campers.
Very quiet and clean place. Access via a forest road. I had a very peaceful night. Please leave the place clean :)
Great spot, beware: do not use Waze to get there.
We were there in August from 4 p.m. There is no shade and it gets very hot, which is a shame because the forest is magnificent. Hikers and a few bicycles. Easy access and space for at least 5–6 motorhomes or vans.
Spent the night in peace, with opportunities to walk or cycle.
Great nature spot to stay. The path there is narrow, but certainly manageable with a camper. We were there at the weekend, so quite a few hikers parked there.
Bucolic place in the middle of nature, very quiet. Picnic table a few meters away at the edge of the forest.
Super-quiet parking area in the woods, beautiful walks, leave the place clean, peaceful night.
A magnificent place in the middle of the forests. It was very quiet; we were there alone. Simply wonderful!
Quiet spot with three other guests. A few hikers passed by, but it was very quiet at night. Ideal spot!
We had a very peaceful night and enjoyed the nearby tawny owls hunting. In the morning a bullfinch passed by. We did the walk shown on the nearby information board, but it was poorly marked along the way, so we got lost and had to find our own path through the brambles.
Very nice spot, gets visited by stoners, but those are always chill people of course. Dont forget to visit the little chapel, do it in the dark for extra creepy effect. Somebody shaved her long hair and hung it on the altar
