This marked camper place is directly behind the Vaude shop, with a view of fields and sometimes storks. It is quiet and has no services. The approach and parking worked well with a 7.6m motorhome, although the spaces may seem narrow. Vaude shopping, nearby walking routes, and church bells, especially around 6:00 a.m., are notable features.

Nice spot; every camper can fit because you can extend onto the grass. Beautiful view. The only downside for us was that, unfortunately, an excavator was operating at 6 a.m.... and we didn't quite understand the church bells, which rang for a long time every quarter hour, then stopped for hours, and suddenly rang again at 3:30 a.m. Still, it's great that this free spot is available!

Many thanks to Vaude for the place. Perfect for a quiet night and shopping in the morning. Only downside: the parking spaces are too small for motorhomes. With our Sprinter, it was just about enough.

Small, sweet, idyllic spot. Apart from views of fields and hops, there is nothing here. Nice for walking the dog. If you don't like hustle and bustle, you can really relax here.
I spent several nights here over Pentecost while visiting relatives in Hangelar. There was some noise from young people once, but it was over by around 11 p.m.
Currently okay for filling bottles, but nothing more. Perhaps it is seasonal.
Perfect for one night.
