This is a quiet parking lot below the church in a small village. The church bells ring every half hour. There are no services, shops or restaurants, but a covered picnic area with a bin is available, and it is an excellent base for walks.

Very beautiful and peaceful place to spend the night. Lovely little church. Covered picnic area with a bin. The village has no shop or restaurants. Very good base for hiking.
No facilities, but ideal for hikers on the Eifelsteig who, like us, use a campervan. And the ultimate in rural peace and quiet.
A very beautiful and peaceful place.
From here you can hike the Eifelsteig wonderfully, for example the Eifel Tuscany, Kalvarienberg Alendorf, and Lampertstal. Accordingly, hikers also passed by the parking area frequently during the day. The site is large, level, and fairly quiet; the country road is only slightly audible with the window open and not at all at night. The chapel is beautiful. Small rubbish bin available.
A very beautiful and peaceful place. Also suitable for larger vehicles. However, you should expect strange looks from local residents.
