Been here?
This is a campsite directly beside Waldsee, with a private sandy beach and water activities. The operators are friendly, while the sanitary and laundry areas are old; showers cost €1 per 5 minutes. Washing and drying 2 loads can cost 30 Euro, with 1€ chips providing 15 minutes of operation. The campsite offers a quiet lakeside setting with the facilities needed for a stay.

You can reach the city center surprisingly quickly with buses 500 meters away. Friendly welcome. But the pricing is outrageous. We had to wash and dry two loads of laundry: €30. (€1, one token, for 15 minutes of operation; short program: 2 hours.) The sanitary and laundry facilities are old, and the showers also use tokens. For us, these were the two most expensive nights of our trip. The lakeside beach, however, looks great.Translating
It is doable; everyone has to decide for themselves. Everything you need is available on site.Translating
Check in at the second white house from the road, around the back. Friendly host who explains and shows you everything clearly. We had an excellent overnight stay with the camper. Showers use tokens that you can buy: €1 for 5 minutes. The showers are simple and basic, but fine for use. There is a private beach on Lake Waldsee, so you can enjoy swimming!Translating
We stayed here for three nights. Very nice operators. We absolutely do not understand the negative reviews. The sanitary facilities were clean and otherwise perfectly adequate. If you want golden faucets, you should go somewhere else. It is a good 10-minute walk to the bus stop, and line 5 takes you to Paderborn's old town. It could not be better. We will definitely come back!!!Translating
We were there this weekend. Very friendly welcome. The owner is a very friendly person. Everything is basically available and very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the showers and toilets were not very clean. There was no toilet paper. The restaurant was open, with a very nice terrace and a great view of the lake.Translating
We stayed here for one night. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed. Showers use tokens, lasting about 5 minutes for €1. The sanitary facilities were impeccably clean. Electricity is supplied via Schuko sockets, so an adapter is necessary.Translating
The owner was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The site was not really to my taste. The sanitary facilities were okay. You need a shower token, but unfortunately there was no indication of how long the showers last. Three of the four sockets in the women's area were broken. In the evening, you may have to continue looking for things in the dark because the light simply switches off. Washing dishes is done with lukewarm water, and there is only one sink.Translating
I think a site can be old, but it does not have to be dirty. Dogs are forbidden on the beach by the lake. There is black mold in the shower grout. There is no toilet paper. The washing-up and laundry building is the worst—dirt everywhere you look. We certainly will not come back here. The welcome was nice. Everything else was consistently poorly maintained.Translating
Very inexpensive, everything available. Sanitary facilities okay but unfortunately dirty. The campsite has a lot of potential. The groundskeeper is very nice and, as described, uncomplicated. :)Translating
It was perfect for us! Inexpensive, quiet, clean, and sunrise over the meadow during breakfast! Simply wonderful! Very friendly welcome. We will definitely come back!Translating
