Park parking, overnight road noise

I talked to the local police (Covilhã GNR) and they told me we can sleep overnight, no problem. Nice level parking with barbecue and a lot of sports courts.

Good place to spend the day and night. There is a barbecue, playground, basketball courts and other games, a green area with a river, and a kiosk where you can have a drink; the people who run it are very friendly. As mentioned previously, various services are available, as well as a bar. We spent Saturday night there, and the bar was full, as were several picnic tables. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and spent the night alone and peacefully. In the morning, we encountered several local athletes.
