37 Fuestruper Straße, 48268, Greven
Been here?
A motorhome area directly on the Dortmund-Ems canal, with gravel paths, paved lawns and spaces suitable for large vehicles. Fresh water and grey- and black-water disposal are available, with free WiFi and an electric-bike charging station, although the WiFi may not work reliably. Pitches can be tight, and the small sanitary facilities have recently received mixed cleanliness reports. A beach bar and restaurant provide drinks, pizza and bread rolls, while nearby road traffic and occasional loud music can be noticeable.

We really enjoyed our stay again. Toilets and showers, even for a motorhome area, are top-notch. We paid €17.50 in the second row. The only thing is that the Wi-Fi could really work better. But that is only because we had almost no reception with Vodafone, so overall there is hardly any signal.
Superb site right by the Dortmund–Ems Canal. Nice, clean toilets. There is a washing machine and a café nearby. It is a good bike ride of just under 13 km to Münster. For most of the way you can cycle along the canal on excellent cycle paths.
Pleasant location and lovely along the canal. The bar and restaurant were appreciated. The toilets and shower were not fresh at all—dirty and smelly. Two toilets/showers for men for 150 pitches is far too few. It was completely full when we were there.
We had a very nice pitch directly by the canal. We lacked nothing in terms of services and facilities. The beach bar offers a large selection of drinks and delicious pizza. One star deducted because the sanitary facilities are really small and could be kept much cleaner.
At first glance, a nice overnight stop, but it was somewhat disappointing. The pitches are rather cramped. Registration takes place in a small room a little farther away by the beach bar. The sanitary facilities are very limited for such a large camper site. Moreover, they were not clean, so we had to use our own toilet and shower after all.
Completely OK, nothing more, but adequate for one night. Tight pitches.
On our way home we made one last stop here. Nice site, but the pitches are rather narrow. Bread service and a good restaurant with beach bar. The sanitary facilities need improvement, and unfortunately the nearby federal road is always noticeable. Fine for an overnight stay, though.
In good weather it can get quite cramped. Drive onto the site, find a pitch and check in. The pitches directly by the water are excellent. The bread service works superbly, the beach club invites you to linger, and the restaurant food is delicious.
The check in process for after hours was confusing - from the pitch area you can just go through a small covered archway in a hedge and there are toilets. To the left of that is the registration a little further down. There was a restaurant playing loud music through a loudspeaker until 21:30 which was a bit annoying for us, and the garbage dumpsters were overflowing onto the pavement. An ok stay.
Great site! You can easily cycle to Münster, for example. The beach bar is also highly recommended. We will gladly come again.
Highly recommended. Drive onto the site, find a pitch and check in. The pitches directly by the water are unbeatable. The bread service works superbly, the beach club invites you to linger, and the restaurant food is very good. A great starting point for cycling tours to Münster or Greven. We will definitely return.
Great site on our way to Denmark. Plenty of space, even for larger motorhomes. You can walk the dog very well along the canal and relax at the beach bar. €17.50 for 24 hours. Dogs are free.
Top motorhome site, fantastic location, very quiet. Everything you need. If only everywhere were this nice.
Excellent motorhome site, also for several nights! €21.20 for a fairly large pitch (we preferred shade from the trees) for two people, with toilet, showers (€1) and 6A electricity; quick registration with the friendly harbor master, also possible online. Relatively quiet, with excellent cycle paths along the canal and two restaurants. We had a shady pitch; there is a restaurant and bistro/beach bar right next door. We will come back!
Great for cycling! Two showers and three toilets for 150 motorhomes!
A beautiful site, very clean and with everything you need. The cycle path along the canal is very nice, taking about 30 minutes to Münster.
Super lovely motorhome site with a good view of the riverboats. The front pitches, which are the most sought-after, are very uneven. The sanitary facilities are fine—not many, but they are there.
We were last here a year and a half ago. Nothing has changed. Some pitches in the front row are still crooked and uneven; now, in the rain, large muddy puddles form. It urgently needs leveling and more gravel. Therefore one point deducted. The staff are still very friendly. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi does not work at pitch A14.
Great site, everything needed is available. Excellent location for cycling or walking the dog.
Fine overnight site. You can hear the motorway, but not enough to be bothersome. You check in yourself by filling out a form if the owners are not there after 1 p.m. Older toilets but fine. Most pitches are on grass. Good emptying and filling point. Coin-operated fresh water.
Very nice site. Pitches are not very large but sufficient to extend the awning. Sanitary facilities are somewhat older but very clean. Direct view of the water. Very nicely designed beach bar with a kitchen. Very friendly staff. I will definitely come again!
We arrived in the evening; everything was very uncomplicated. We connected to electricity and paid the next morning. There were even delicious bread rolls, and the small shop has everything necessary. Gladly again!
Well signposted, plenty of space, clean sanitary facilities, contactless payment. One star deducted because of road noise.
We used this site for one night while passing through. We arrived on Saturday afternoon and it was already more than 90% full. The pitch and sanitary facilities are clean and orderly. However, two toilets and two showers for men are rather inadequate. Overall, this site can be recommended.
Overall, a very beautiful place to stay, without fault. Reasonably priced and very friendly people at reception. Great for a short weekend break. Lovely walks through the Münster flood meadows or the nearby Ems floodplains are possible. We will definitely come more often!
Nice site, friendly service. We arrived in the evening, chose a pitch, registered in writing and ordered bread rolls, then paid in the morning—super easy. The sanitary facilities are clean. A hot shower costs one €1 coin for six minutes, which is fair.
Great site, everything needed is available: waste and water services, electricity, showers and bread service. Nice restaurant with a small but excellent menu, and a small shop. Wi-Fi is unfortunately not very strong, but satellite reception was excellent. Nice for walks and a great starting point for cycling tours. I will gladly return.
Great site with a good concept. We stood directly by the canal. In the morning we had delicious bread rolls thanks to ordering in advance. Unfortunately, due to the freezing weather, toilet emptying did not work. We will return!
Really nice motorhome site as a stopover on the journey north, even with shower, toilet and water supply, electricity and wastewater disposal, plus bread service. Cool beach bar with snacks next door. We were there in August.
not so often you come to places like this, its like a oasis and everything is in pristine condition and you also have a bar/restaurant on sight, beautiful location and you can also pay with card, people working here are also very nice and can good english, only downside is that the restroom building could have been bigger and some information could have been better in english
Lovely place, good toilet and shower facilities, although there are not many—two women's and two men's showers—for 150 motorhomes. On the site itself, the pitches are very close together; that would not be accepted back home in Denmark for safety reasons. I think the fire authorities would not allow it.
The site is great and reasonably priced (€21.50 for one night, two people and one dog). The cramped sanitary facilities, with two men's toilets and two open showers, can easily become overcrowded. Washing dishes is not possible because it is only a motorhome site, not a campsite. You can arrive in the evening whenever you like and park wherever you want.
Basically a nice location. Unfortunately, minimum distances between motorhomes are not observed. It would be desirable for the operator to establish clear rules and ensure compliance. The large white motorhomes are parked very close together, and every second one has two dogs lying in front of it. Too cramped and too much barking. We left again.
The motorhome site is quite noisy, with constant traffic from the road. €20 without electricity, showers, water or dishwashing is rather expensive. It is possible to cycle to Münster and the Rieselfelder.
The site is well laid out; the restaurant is fine for having a drink, but in this case the currywurst was the worst in decades. Otherwise, everyone was friendly.
