Overnight parking, church bells

We parked here to see if it was a viable place to sleep, but the bells were too loud for us! honestly don't understand why they would put a motorhome parking spot next to a Church with bells going off every half an hour

A great location and was very quiet when we arrived, though another van turned up after we did. The only complaint was the bell, my partner could hear it throughout the night. Otherwise no issues!

A good place to stop over, alot cheaper than the places nearby the castle. Toilets were open all night, but not the cleanest. As others have said you have to pay by bank transfer.

Great wee stopover. Slightly difficult to pay, we ended up doing a bank transfer to the municipality. The church is very nice and we saw a red squirrel in the nearby woods. There’s a good vending machine with local produce (great ice cream!) and Bauhaus Passegen is a very nice store.

We spent one night here from yesterday to today. The paved parking spaces are somewhat uneven, but the gravel area is fine. Toilets were okay. You have to transfer €10 per night to the municipality, so it is very easy. Perfectly fine for one night.✦Translating

Stayed 3 nights over a weekend and had no trouble at all. Quiet and convenient, used it as a base to drive to and explore Forgensee and Tirol, where there are very few free overnight camping spots.

I stayed here for two nights, from 2 to 4 August, and I must say I was very pleased. Quiet at night and the toilet facilities were quite good overall. During those days I also caught the food festival in the square, which allowed me to have a beer and listen to some music.✦Translating

Stop complaining about the church bells. What chatterboxes. They are part of life. Great place for visiting the church and spending the night. Beautiful toilet facilities open 24 hours. The church is truly overwhelming and you should definitely visit it.✦Translating

Excellent spot for one night. We arrived around 7 p.m. and there was only one other RV, then another arrived to spend the night. Really quiet and safe, with no facilities. Five minutes’ walk away are several restaurants, including Klosterschanke, with excellent beer and local dishes. Recommended if passing through the area.✦Translating

Great for one night! The bells did not bother us, and at night there is no traffic despite the square being in the centre of the village. The toilets are very well maintained. There is a cemetery across from the parking area with a fountain.✦Translating

Wonderful place, with both shaded and sunny spaces. Very quiet at night. The bakery around the corner offers breakfast and lunch. I heard the church only once, ringing at 6 in the morning.✦Translating

Nice place to stay. Car park a little busy during the day, but that's expected. Toilets open 24/7 and clean. Good bakery around the corner. 45 minutes walk to the nearby lake. Nice cafe across the road from the lake in Lechbruck am See. Only downside, the church bells which ring every 15 mins and clang out on the hour. To be honest, didn't bother us. Slept right through.

It would be a quiet place not far from Füssen, but the bell that strikes the hours is too close and makes the night difficult. It also strikes the quarters.✦Translating

Toilets without toilet seats, but otherwise okay. They are free and open all night. The church bells ring, but they did not keep us awake. Safe and small parking area, busy in the morning but quiet at night.✦Translating

Nice place for an overnight stay, bakery was within walking distance. The toilets were easily accessible and clean enough. Not much through traffic as it is a small town and this spot is off the main road. Grocery shop was a 5 minute walk away. Church bell did ring throughout the night although they didn’t bother us. Short drive to the lake for a beautiful morning or evening view. Bin accessible.

Free village parking accessible to motorhomes, with a clean public toilet right opposite. The village church is worth a visit, but beware: the bell tower never stops ringing—not even at 5 a.m. on Sunday. It has its charm.✦Translating
