Guarded truck stop, truck noise

Not so quite for overnight stay, but very safe and guided 24/7 free parking spot. Upon our arrival guard approached us and informed that is ok to stay and that parking is free of charge.

Night among the trucks. Showers included in the parking price. Not especially clean, but nice and hot!

Clean, free, hot shower. Friendly attendant at car park, said we could stay overnight for €5. However, just used facilities. Shower is in men’s toliets but is it a locked, enclosed cubicle. I felt comfortable as a woman using it.

The shower is in the men’s toilet of the truck stop behind the gas station (slightly uncomfortable for ladies). However it is very clean with plenty of hot water. Get the key from the gas station counter in exchange for your ID.

Thank you for sharing this. We did not spend the night there. We went to see whether it was possible to take a shower and, to our great surprise, not only were we able to shower, but it was also free, with a smiling attendant. It is a shame that P4N systematically rejected listing showers as a “service”. It would make them easier to find and would be very useful for van travellers.

Completely out of the question in a roof tent; the car park is separated from the motorway only by a wire fence, one metre from the road.

We stayed there. Clear place. Staffs were unfriendly.
