Camping Pfählhof

The site has a beautiful natural setting and a good atmosphere. €27 for one person and one dog without electricity is too expensive. I wanted to pay on the evening before my departure, but that is not possible here: I was rigorously informed that payment and departure take place from 8 a.m. to noon, and not earlier! This unfriendly announcement cost the place points.

Beautiful, quiet place in nature. Great for an overnight stop. A 25-minute walk takes you to a small lake. Many mountain bikers. There is a restaurant at the campsite, and an ice-cream man came onto the grounds ringing his bell—fun. Neat toilets and showers. You can order bread rolls for the morning.

Beautiful site with everything you need. Nice pitches, some separated by hedges. Unfortunately, you still have to pay for the shower (50 cents/5 minutes). We can also highly recommend the Indian restaurant on site.

Great location, beautiful large pitches under trees, very clean and friendly operators. Remember to bring coins for the shower. In autumn, evening opening hours are not as long as stated on the website, so it is best to check by phone. We will come back.

Too expensive. A decent campsite in itself, with a small playground, greenery and good sanitary facilities. But €40+ for two adults, one child and electricity, then still charging for the shower, is really mediocre. If you are on the roadside, you can hear the road. The restaurant is fantastic! Wi-Fi/4G is slow.

Beautiful, clean campsite. Points deducted for the price and the 50-cent showers. I could certainly imagine stopping here again.

Beautiful location for hiking and walking the dog. Up to 30 liters of water can be filled for free. We filled our 65-liter tank and paid €3.50, which I find quite expensive considering the already rather high total price. Unfortunately, the pricing is quite unclear in this regard. Overall, we probably will not come back.

German punctuality, please! Three minutes after 1 p.m. (morning arrival 8 a.m.–1 p.m., afternoon from 3 p.m.), we were unfortunately no longer welcome. Maybe there will be another chance next time.

Well-designed site, but overpriced. Why charge another 50 cents for a shower in a cold shower room?

Very beautiful, surrounded by nature. Pitches along the stream and on the meadow toward the area for permanent caravans, all convenient and well maintained. Clean facilities. The owner at reception was very kind. Bread and pastries can be ordered. The Indian restaurant at the campsite is very good, with takeaway available. Excellent place to stay for a few days, not just one night. Children’s play area.

Very small campsite beside a stream. Immaculate sanitary facilities, spacious pitches mostly in the shade. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. We spent one night here while traveling back from Bavaria toward Stuttgart.
