Been here?
This is a modern motorhome area for 20 mobile homes near Kapermolenpark, with payment at an automaton and access and wifi codes provided afterward. The price is 22€ per night, while electricity is charged at 70ct./KWh; water and disposal facilities are available, but water and electric are not included in the basic price. It is beside parks, woodland, water, walking paths and direct cycle routes, with Hasselt city centre and Aldi close by. The site is generally quiet, though road noise, uncut grass, difficult payment and occasional barrier or rubbish-box problems have been reported.

Great place, easy check-in at the payment machine; after paying, you receive an entry code and a Wi-Fi code as well. Beautifully landscaped site with flowers and many benches. You can hear the road outside, but with a well-insulated van it should be manageable.
Bad. Tried several times to open the barrier. The money was charged, but the barrier stayed closed. It turned out afterward that it was defective. Money lost and no place for the camper.
Very beautifully landscaped site. Just a few minutes by bicycle to the city. We spent a very quiet night. Waste disposal is well designed and very clean.
Good location for the lovely city. Excellent cycle paths direct from the site enabled completion of a 20km easy cycle ride along the canal. Aldi a few minutes walk. Looked a bit scruffy (wilding perhaps?). Stayed for 2 nights. HOWEVER, the price of 22€ per night, no water or electric, must leave by 11am, is excessive. We arrived in the evening, so paid 44€ (+ 7€ for electric). 51€ for 2 nights!
Easily accessible camper site and within walking distance of Hasselt city center. It's a shame the grass hasn't been mowed and the weeds are allowed to grow. It looks somewhat neglected. As a result, there was also little space to put your chair outside. Indeed, we also couldn't open the trash bin.
Beautifully laid-out site, reasonably priced. But we couldn't figure out how to open the trash boxes—you have to enter a code, but which one? Very well-functioning, free Wi-Fi. Electricity is not charged according to consumption, but at a flat rate of 70 cents per kWh, and there are no displays showing consumption. You buy it by guesswork. It was very quiet at night (Friday to Saturday).
A nicely landscaped site. However, the price is not for 24 hours: we arrived at 1 p.m. and had to leave by 11 a.m. the next day. First choose a spot, then return to the machine and enter the electricity post number if desired; the same applies to water. Waste disposal is outside.
Excellent camper site. Difficult to pay for your place. Cards didn't work. Aanuit.net finally worked. It's a shame the spaces aren't level. Levelling wedges are necessary.
Beautiful new camper site directly behind the Japanese garden. In a beautiful urban nature area with woods, water, and lovely walking paths. + If you walk toward the city center through the bicycle tunnel, there is a dog exercise area shortly after exiting the tunnel. + Very good Wi-Fi at the camper site. - The code did not work on the waste bin.
Beautiful new site, close to the park and city center.
Lovely camper site; every camper has a green area to sit on, which is a plus because the spaces aren't sardine-like. Watch out for the rocks when driving into your space. Why is there a large closed shed at the entrance? They could make something else of it. It is expensive, with extra charges for electricity and water!
Excellent place within walking distance of Hasselt city center. Spent a quiet night. No toilet or shower facilities.
Very beautiful, clean camper site. Within walking distance of the city center, so there is some traffic noise. At night there was little noise, so we slept well. We couldn't open the trash bin with the code. Still a drawback, because €18 without water or electricity is not cheap.
Beautifully landscaped site with lots of greenery. Very attractive and rustic. Everyone has their own plot. Yes, the spaces are narrow, but people, this is a motorhome site, not a campsite. If you need space, go to campsites. At €18 per night, or €22 in summer, it is one of the more expensive sites. Check-in is very easy via a multilingual machine.
Excellent location a short distance from Hasselt city center. Good connections to the city's ring road and the motorway. Nearby: Trixxo Arena Hasselt, Plopsa Indoor Hasselt, Kinepolis Hasselt, Japanese garden, grocery stores, and more. Busy in the good season! Be sure to take that into account.
Very beautifully landscaped modern site with a variety of vegetation. Apparently newly established; payment is made through a multilingual terminal and by card. It is not completely quiet, as the road is less than 50 meters away, but in the low season there was at least no real noise. At €18/€22 (high season is €4 more), certainly not cheap, but nice for one or two nights.
The site was obviously not planned and laid out by campers. The plots are too small. Completely unnecessarily, large rocks have been placed at every plot entrance. For the price charged, I would also have expected a toilet. The only positive is the proximity to the city. But that also means you cannot call it a quiet idyll.
Easy to access. Nice location near the park and also close to the city center, easily reached on foot. Impossible to open the bins even with the code. Close to the road (Hasselt ring road), so there is traffic noise. Water and electricity cost extra.
Everything you need, and excellent proximity to the city!
Beautifully landscaped and well-maintained camper site. Ideal for walking into Hasselt city center. The bins wouldn't open, probably because they were full. Unfortunately, there was some waste next to the bin as a result. We will definitely come back!
Fantastic place. Clean and well maintained, very close to Winterland and the shopping streets (1 km), with a lovely walk through the park. For those who want it, there is a bus stop right in front of the campsite entrance. It took some searching to figure out exactly how to reserve, but we managed. Definitely recommended!
Very nice and quiet location, just 1 km from Winterland. It was clear how to take a spot. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I would like to ask how to dispose of waste; we tried everything, but it didn't work. I don't think we were the only ones, as there was a lot of waste beside it. This could have been explained more clearly. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
As nice as the site is, you shouldn't come here for peace and quiet right now. From November 7 to 23, there is a music and light festival right next to the camper site, with a lot of noise. Worthless. From 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. You don't leave easily after just paying €18.
What a beautiful and pleasant camper park. Everything is close by bicycle: the city center, shops—very convenient. Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed the view from our camper. Definitely recommended!
Beautiful camper site, close to the city center and Japanese garden, quiet and with all facilities.
A very beautifully landscaped, clean site close to the city center. Easy digital access. We quickly reached the nature reserve by bicycle. Absolutely recommended for one or two nights.
Very smart modern site, by a road but that didn't bother us at all. By numerous cycle paths and a short walk to town. If you need water pay after you have entered the site as you need the code on the tap to make it work we paid for 50L which was 0.50c.
