Unnamed Road, 09140, Ustou
Been here?
Summer-only wild spot on a mountain ski slope (accessible June–September). Access via rough dirt track, passable at walking pace with motorhomes up to 6.5m. Spectacular 360-degree views. Site is very calm, with no services or shade; strong sun exposure from 7am. Multiple parking spaces available. Walking trails and the village of Aulus with shops are nearby.

Magnificent site. We accessed it with a 6.5-metre motorhome, crawling along. Beautiful hike below, the Fouillet Valley. Two cool nights. Magnificent.
The track is quite manageable in a van if you drive slowly. We were alone and enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. Quiet night, but the sun was already strong at 7 a.m. and there was no shade.
Beautiful! But if you continue along the road, there is Paradise!
I spent two nights here and the views are SPECTACULAR. There are many more parking spaces than stated in the original information. However, keep in mind that you are in the middle of a ski slope, so parking is only permitted from June to September.
Not a bad spot after almost 1 km of rocky road with many potholes, but it remains accessible with almost any type of vehicle. Fairly busy until late evening and early morning; the area beyond is under construction, probably for workers.
Superb view, but access is via a track. It is passable, but be careful. The parking area is currently under construction, with construction equipment and piles of gravel. Do not make the climb at the moment.
At the end of a somewhat rough track, but passable if driving slowly. Splendid view, but the southerly wind was too strong to stay, so we went back down towards the resort.
Very beautiful spot with a lovely 360-degree view. The rocky road is still accessible, and it is easy enough if you take it calmly. Absolute peace and quiet.
Very beautiful spot with a magnificent 360-degree view. Easily accessible via the track. Close to the village of Aulus and its Vival shop, full of good local products.
One of my favourite spots, never disappointed by the panoramic view. Extraordinary sunsets and sunrises. Very quiet.
Great for the night. We arrived around 7 p.m. and were alone at the site. A 4x4 with photographers left around 10 p.m. Unfortunately, we had snow in the middle of the night and very dense fog when we woke up. Not ideal for seeing the sunrise, but a lovely spot!
