This is a shaded riverside rest area where overnight stays beside the water are possible. It has clean sanitary facilities, and a food truck is present in summer. Swimming is possible in an unsupervised water reservoir, although the reservoir has sometimes been absent when the dam was open. Dogs are prohibited.

Beautiful site, but dogs are prohibited.
Pleasant, tree-lined spot, with the possibility of sleeping by the water. A food truck is present in summer. You can swim in an unsupervised reservoir. Clean facilities.
Great spot. The reservoir was not there because the dam was open and the bank had been washed away by a flood, but it is a peaceful, shaded, and wow-worthy place!
We stayed several days; it is really great. There is water, and swimming is supervised in the afternoon.
Great spot for the day. There is plenty of parking; I think staying overnight would be possible :)
