Spacious ruins parking, passing planes

This isolated parking area by ruined gardens or a monument is flat, spacious and generally quiet. Military or other planes pass about every hour, except during the night, while the nearby road can be heard. Rubbish and safety concerns have been reported, although the area remains suitable for a stop when the ruins are closed. Bins and clean water are available along the road in the next village on the left.

Stayed from Monday to Tuesday; it was fine because the ruins are closed on Tuesdays. It is unclear whether it is actually permitted, but the national park only begins west of the car park. Unfortunately, there was quite a lot of rubbish again. Otherwise, it is level and spacious.
For us, even with two motorhomes, we did not stay here because we did not feel safe. We drove 15 km farther to Alike, a small fishing port, and it was perfect.
Directly beside the road. Relatively level and clean.
Midge infestation. It is impossible to walk outside in still weather. The site is directly beside a beautiful nature reserve and marsh. Therefore, I would not recommend this place.
