Hiking parking, no facilities

Lovely quiet place to stay. Close to the Teufelsschlucht. I found the parking area tidy and quiet and was not bothered by the road alongside it.

The site is beautiful, level and spacious. The downside is that cars pass occasionally and their noise is bothersome. Fewer pass at night, so you can sleep well.

Stayed here several times, and it is the same every time! The road is far too busy and therefore too noisy at night to sleep peacefully. There is also often rubbish along the edge, attracting vermin and causing unpleasant smells. In summary, NOT recommended, especially since there are other overnight options nearby.

The video-surveilled parking area is excellent as a starting point for numerous hikes. We stayed here for two nights in the camper; take your rubbish with you and do not unpack all your camping equipment. The road is quiet at night and generally has little traffic. At night you can hear the stream, and there is no mobile reception. Great for responsible, quiet overnight stays in a camper.

Great quiet overnight spot. There is some traffic noise towards morning, but it is not very disturbing. We enjoyed beautiful walks with the dog.

Purely a hiking parking area beside a heavily trafficked country road, with no infrastructure. Recently very heavily used by wild campers and unfortunately very littered, with unpleasant waste left behind. Video surveillance has apparently been added recently, but the site also seems to be used as an illegal dumping ground. No mobile reception, located under trees, and satellite television is not possible.

Good and quiet place.
