14 Schulstraße, 76857, Gossersweiler-Stein
Been here?
This free motorhome parking area is beside a fire station and school, with gravel and grass sections near hiking trails. The site is very quiet overnight but noticeably sloped, and recent visitors found it suitable for one night. An Edeka supermarket open 24/7 is approximately 200 meters away, while glass containers are 30m uphill. There are no other services, and the parking area may be somewhat difficult to find.

Nice parking area next to a school, somewhat sloping, with a 24/7 Edeka about 200 meters away for shopping.
Nice place as described; we stayed one night in absolute peace. Thanks to the municipality for providing this option.
The place was perfectly fine for us and costs nothing.
Free gravel parking area, with grass in the lower section. The whole area is extremely sloped and often cannot even be leveled with wedges. Be careful if you park at the lower edge, as intended: do not reverse too far, because although it is less steep there, especially when wet you have almost no chance of getting out again without four-wheel drive. Plenty of tire tracks.
The upper part of the site is currently full of broken glass. There are three large construction containers in the lower part. At the moment it is barely usable.
Free parking area, many thanks to the municipality for providing it. Please take your rubbish with you; used tissues should not be left on the ground either. The fire station is very close and there was a small celebration with music. So it was not completely quiet, but it did not disturb us at night.
Top parking area, free, sloping! No problem with leveling wedges. Simply navigate toward the school or fire station; anyone who cannot find it must be an elephant?! Nice view of Goschd, with little traffic on the adjacent road. Good starting point for cycling and hiking, including to Silzer See! Steiner Nadel is also great for climbing!
Anyone who finds this place is a hero. We got lost twice and found no signs anywhere. We could not turn around in the narrow streets, so we had to drive along the forest road to the large construction site to turn around. Very difficult approach.
Beautiful location, but occupied by local cars, motorhomes, and caravans. What a shame.
A very good place to spend one or two nights, very quiet at night, with a lot of traffic during the day and a view of the village, but no facilities. Nevertheless, thanks to the municipality for making the site free. Department 35 (Brittany, France).
Nice place for the night. With large motorhomes, it is better to approach from the north. The truck navigation sent me through the residential area; narrow but possible. Good O2 and Telekom reception with 4G. There is a bakery in Stein, just a short walk away.
