Been here?
This remote island campsite and fishing site lies 3-4 hours by ferry south of Moskenes in the old fishing village of Røst. It is currently officially closed because of insolvency, although overnight stays have been possible. No manager was present, the sanitary facilities were open, and the site was somewhat untidy.

We drove past briefly. It looks deserted. You could probably stay overnight here. We only had lunch there.
Beautiful place, unfortunately officially closed due to bankruptcy. We were allowed to stay overnight, saw no manager, but the sanitary facilities were open. It was somewhat untidy because of the closure.
Unfortunately, the owner is insolvent, but he allowed us to stay there. Beautiful site with clean toilets and showers.
Unfortunately, the site is currently closed. Hopefully there will soon be a new owner, as this place deserves five stars.
Camping with a fantastic location! Friendly host who welcomed us. 350 NOK. One shower and three toilets in okay condition!
What a great experience to be able to camp for two nights on such a remote island. Everything has been thought of: a shower, toilet, washing machine, and dryer. There is also the possibility of using the kitchen with oven and hob. If we are in the area, we will definitely return.
Beautiful site directly by the sea, absolutely quiet, with a harbor atmosphere, very clean and warm sanitary facilities, and a very friendly, helpful owner.
We were at this campsite on July 1, 2024. We were able to buy fresh fish there. The people on the island are very nice. We would gladly come again.
Super friendly person having the camping (Kent). Payed 200 NOK to stay with tent for a night (nice grass area with a nice view close to sea). Then we got kitchen access, warm shower, toilet, tap water, electricity. There was also a cozy hut to make a fire inside.
There is everything one needs (toilet, shower, kitchen, electricity) but it's better to book in advance to inform the owner you are coming. It was difficult to find him when arriving and leaving.
A new site has been created with electrical hookups. It is past the scrapyard on the right, with a great view of the sea. You have to look for the owner, including when paying. Not everything is very tidy, but acceptable. Boats for fishing can be rented. Everything is available, right up to a freezer.
