Been here?
This is a large free parking area at the entrance to Balcarka Cave and a starting point for walks. The surface is concrete but slightly sloping, with surrounding nature and rubbish bins. A nearby road can be very noisy, even at night, while the toilets are closed overnight. The cave and Macocha Abyss are nearby attractions.

Perfect location right before the caves, but the road next to never sleeps, therefore so much noise and sleepless night. Much space, free, toilets closed for the night.
Great place to stop with a camper! Free, large parking area in a very peaceful and quiet location. Beautiful nature all around, so you can truly relax here. An excellent base for visiting Balcarka Cave and the surrounding Moravian Karst. The night passed without any problems—I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place for a short stop or overnight stay.
Great place for a break during the journey.
Very good place. 21 May 2026—only three cars at night.
Beautiful free parking area not far from the road, with a view of nature. The parking area is very large; two more campers arrived after us. Garbage bins available. Unfortunately, the toilets were locked in the morning and did not open until around 8am. Good starting point for hikes and visiting the stalactite cave.
A large site in a nature reserve at the foot of the cave. A road runs below, but it is not bothersome. A few cars passed in the evening and morning, but the night was quiet and we slept well. The site is free and a good starting point for visiting the cave the next day.
We parked well; two other campers were there with us.
Beautiful place on the edge of a nature reserve. We took advantage of it and visited the cave in the morning.
Great place on a concrete surface. This is the parking lot at the entrance to the Balcarka cave, which we recommend to visiting. Nearby is also the Macocha abyss, which can be reached on foot. Parking is free of charge completely run by the service.
Sloping but free parking. We didn't sleep there; we walked from here to the Macocha Abyss.
