Been here?
Large, solid-surface parking area near the beach, with a promenade for walking and cycling. Recent reports describe serious dirt and safety concerns, including a syringe, broken knives and an incident involving violence. Water is available from low-flow taps, and there is a waste area. The road can be noisy, while some visitors have found the nights calm.

Beware! Danger! Achtung! I do not know exactly at which car park this happened, but in this area on June 21, a 21-year-old man of sub-Saharan origin entered a young woman's motorhome, attempted to rape her and assaulted her very violently. Be extremely careful in this area, especially women travelling alone. Please be very careful!
Very dirty. Unfortunately, I stepped barefoot on a syringe. On the way to the beach there were also broken knives and other hazards. Please avoid it, especially with dogs.
Level parking at the end of the beach with many motorhomes, but very quiet for the night. A promenade is provided for pedestrians and cyclists.
We stopped and it was very peaceful. We did not sleep there, but many caravans had, and they seemed to have been there for several days. There is a low-flow fountain, but sufficient to fill 24 litres in four minutes. Suitable for a small van, such as a Vito.
Hostile-looking area, but it meets expectations: sleep and continue on your way.
Nice place, not far from the beach. There is a low-flow tap near the bins, and another with stronger flow on the promenade. We slept well despite the road nearby. The cycle path is right next door, so Mercadona and the town centre are quickly reachable.
Our stopover by the sea was a disgraceful experience that we would like to share with the following warning: beware, this was more of a dump than a parking area, and more an enclave of aggressive people where other motorhome users are not welcome.
Always suitable for a stopover. Over the years we have been here from time to time, and we always park in this car park.
Good place to visit the city by motorbike and sleep. Waste service. I think some motorhomes and caravans are long-term residents; they are working people. It is clean.
We've spent 2 quite nights here, but on the beach side! Police is also passing by during days. You can also fish here, a lot of local fishermen came here for fishing , we caught 2 sea bases and grilled them. Great spot!
We arrived there in the late evening and we felt strongly unsafe so we left, it was also very noisy and most of the space was full of vehicles they were probably parked there since a while. We stayed in a better parking lot not far with a couple of other campers.
Since the car park itself is occupied by locals and probably long-term campers, we parked by the sea. But we had to overcome our reservations—it is like a rubbish dump!
Unsafe place. Our bicycles were stolen. People living there. I do not recommend it!
Marginal caravan area; several marginal families and undocumented foreigners live there. Perfect for losing parts from our motorhome, with dogs barking all day. There is no drinking water.
If you happen to venture there, caravans permanently settled in ruins, thefts for parts, a crazy place—recommended if you want your vehicle stripped; leave it there for three days.
Our e-bikes were stolen from the motorhome at night.
It is fine for spending the night, but very far from everything. Bobar beach is awful, and there is nothing nearby—not even somewhere to eat or shop. But you sleep well; it is quiet. When we slept there, the car park was quite full.
The location is not bad, but it does not feel safe at all, with people settled there indefinitely. I ended up at the one before it, behind the petrol station; it is a car park with quite a lot of activity early in the evening.
Great place, but very neglected. Lots of rubbish.
Terrible place. Many Spaniards stay there with their cars and caravans, set up for their holidays, and fill the whole area. Ordinary cars are parked across three or four spaces.
Stayed on the dirt area by the sea, loads of rubbish, quite untidy but nice sea views and company of numerous other motorhomes but with a bit of space around so not squashed in together. It’s a huge area, lots of big puddles on our stay. Police came in and drove around. First night was fine, went off and came back for 2nd night but then had cars in middle of night doing donuts & being nuisance.
I travel with a caravan trailer and our stay here went very well. The parking area was nicely occupied by caravans and motorhomes, with a very good atmosphere. We had an excellent night. There are no services of any kind, only a place to discharge water. #ChispaFamily #EdeFicarEmBrasa
It is a shame that so many caravans are permanently parked on the pitch, although as far as I know it is an official motorhome site. Several long-term motorhome residents are also there. The whole place no longer looks trustworthy, unlike two years ago. Really a shame and regrettable.
The car park was full. We stayed beside the car park by the water with many others. There is a lot of dirt here and cars constantly drive through, for whatever reason. Police were also there filming the motorhomes. We will leave early tomorrow morning. I do not feel comfortable here.
Many thanks to the municipality for providing the site and water. Nowadays there are many motorhomes and long-term campers. The beach is for kiters, windsurfers and wing foilers. Difficult launch, swimming, clean waves offshore. All spaces occupied.
The free-roaming wild boars are becoming increasingly cheeky; they also walk among the motorhomes during the day looking for food.
07/02/25 Police sent everyone away from the sea area
Level parking, often crowded. The locals who live in their small caravans are extremely kind, despite the disturbance we must cause them. Beautiful walks, water available and cycle paths. Thank you to the municipality. Muchas gracias amigos!
We were here on 25 January 2025 and had a good night. We stayed on the seaside with 11 other campers, with plenty of space still available. Two years ago there were about 100 campers here.
