Ferry village parking, weekend noise

It is perfect from Monday to Friday: little noise, very safe for sleeping and spending the day in Lisbon. Weekends are more difficult, as it is an area for partying and local drinks; many people come to the restaurants by the pier and there is competition for parking spaces. Behind the church is a small shop with coffee and pastries. A boat to Lisbon every half hour, 5 minutes, for €1.50.

Very good for a day while visiting Lisbon. Very convenient for the ferry, which is also inexpensive. It avoids the hassle of parking in the city, paying for parking, and the stress related to security. This is very personal, but we would not have wanted to spend the night there.

All parking spaces were occupied. We spent the night opposite the ticket office. The passenger ferry does not run at night, so it was very quiet. During the day, you can use the toilet in the ferry waiting room.

Places near the boat landing for going to Belém, but little parking is available and many cars are parked.

We slept right in front of the river station; there are about 3–4 spaces. We asked the station security person if we could park there, and they said it was no problem. We spent a very peaceful night, and it is great for taking the boat to visit Belém. The ticket costs €1.50.

A place with quite a lot of traffic during the day because it is a stopover point for boarding and leaving the ferry. No privacy and busy at night. Noisy. On the same road. There are only about 10 legal parking spaces, occupied by customers of the three restaurants and the ferry. The ground is slightly sloped. Dirty and abandoned surroundings. There is a toilet at the pier, 80 metres away. I will not return. I will go to Montijo.

Very quiet at night between midnight and 6 a.m. We slept well in the small side streets nearby, but there was vehicle and airplane noise outside those hours. I suppose it is the same everywhere around Lisbon.

We did not stay there; the beach was dirty and it was a very strange area.
