Been here?
This is a large, level grassy parking area surrounded by trees and mountains, with hiking trails starting nearby. Sheep graze freely across the area, leaving droppings, and their bells can be heard. The nearby road has little traffic, although the site can be windy and has no shade. Fees are 50NOK per day or 80NOK per weekend, with cash advised.

Beautiful location, with views over the mountains and valley. Sheep roam freely around the very large, very level site. Good hiking opportunities. The road is nearby but not very busy. It can be a little windy because the site is almost completely exposed.
No shade and covered in sheep droppings, horseflies, and mosquitoes.
Very nice place! There is hardly any traffic on the road. However, there are many sheep with bells, so there is lots of clanging!
This parking is full of sheep shit and not flat. I’d recommend to camp for free on the parking next to the Gjevillvatnet lake, about a 15 min drive from this one! Much nicer (although a bit busier).
Nice parking area; the road is hardly used and is barely audible in the upper part of the parking area. Sheep graze throughout the parking area and around it. Have the exact cash ready! Bank transfer did not work for us because the IBAN was incomplete.
Had a great night here spotting the northern lights!
Lovely place to just enjoy the views or follow the hiking trails that leave from the spot. Parking fees 50NOK per day or 80NOK per weekend at the time of writing, payable by cash, Vipps or bank transfer. An added bonus: the clanking of sheep bells from sheep grazing in the area.
