Free, bumpy parking area beside a road in Erlenbach im Simmental, with shops and a bakery close by. Quiet enough overnight despite daytime road noise. Longer roadside spots are rented out and off-limits; only the smaller bays opposite are usable, better suited to short vans than large motorhomes. A good base for hiking toward Hinterstockensee.

It is possible to spend one night for free in a quiet place despite the road nearby. Shops are close. Do not park in the spaces on the roadside, as they are rented. The usable spaces are sloped, but they are fine for one night!Translating
This is not a motorhome parking area. The spaces beside the road that are long enough are rented. The spaces opposite are more suitable for small vehicles, such as a VW bus. It is directly beside the road and very noisy during the day. We left again.Translating
