Been here?
A large, flat parking area beside the nature reserve, with the first parking section reserved for motorhomes and later sections for cars. The fee is 150kr for 24h at the machine, or about 170kr with EasyPark. Toilets are at Naturum about 400m away or the café about 600m away. The area is quiet at night and offers direct access to walks of 2,5, 7 km and more.

Motorhome pitch = first parking lot on the left, afterward only for cars. Pitch fee paid directly at the machine next to the bus stop by the visitor center: 150 kr for 24 hours (EasyPark about 170 kr), very quiet at night (only two other motorhomes), toilets at the Naturum visitor center (about 400 m) or café (600 m). 24 hours for cars is “only” 50 kr—not quite clear why…. The motorhome pitch is very small in terms of space…
Motorhome spot in a flat parking lot. Payment by app for 24 hours, about €20. Quite expensive for parking without direct services, but the nature park more than makes up for it!!! Direct access to various walks of 2, 5, 7 km and more. Toilets and water next to the Naturum and a pleasant daytime café.
A parking lot at the nature reserve without toilets, water, or anything else. Two stars for the quiet location, but the price is not appropriate for this gravel area. We did not stay.
We spent 24 quiet hours for 57 SEK. Toilets and a water point. Hiking trails start in a very beautiful park.
Nice large parking lot, costs 170 SEK/24 hours. We will visit the park later, but it is undoubtedly very beautiful. The only issue, as I had read earlier, is that the parking lot is covered with wet wipes (only the first parking area for campers). We spent the first 10 minutes walking around with a bag and cleaning everything up… a small effort, and tidy again :) Otherwise, a great place! ….. Meanwhile, we walked a 5 km red route including the dog. Very beautiful :)
A very peaceful night. The toilet facilities were neat and clean. There is plenty to see in the area.
Good value parking 50SEK with access to toilets and water bins 24Hrs. Cafe and Naturum open in day. Several fire pits available, pay in naturun for wood. Many good walks and rides from carpark.
Great place to spend the night. Turn off the EasyPark SMS notification! You pay by SMS, and it charges every quarter hour! Deer can be seen in the evening and wild boar heard at night; otherwise wonderfully peaceful! Take the first area; farther on is for cars, and a camper quickly becomes too long.
The place is no longer free. The fee is paid through EasyPark. Default settings make 24 hours selectable as standard. The cost is 170 SEK parking fee plus 20 SEK service fee. Unfortunately, the edges are already beginning to fill with wet wipes again. The motorhome area itself is reserved in the lower part of the entire parking lot, which makes perfect sense.
Great parking lot! Toilets are available at the Naturum at the entrance to the nature park. If you stay 5 hours or less, it costs 10 SEK/hour. If you stay longer, the flat rate is 50 SEK and you can stay up to 24 hours. Tip: paying at the machine near the bus stop avoids EasyPark fees.
Inexpensive overnight parking; you can enter the duration directly in the app. We were alone in the huge lot. One area is only for motorhomes, with another only for cars behind it. Very quiet, deer in the meadow.
Very nice parking lot, practically empty and with no road traffic at night. Forest and its sounds all around, great. There are toilets near Naturum, but the one shown in the photo is at a farm, a long way from the parking lot, and belongs to the free campsite. From 22:00 to 10:00 we paid 57 SEK in the EasyPark app, so it is not expensive.
Parking cost SEK 50/day in mid-June
Not a free parking anymore
Paid parking via the app. 150 SEK per day for the motorhome parking area. The one next to it is for cars, at 15 SEK per hour.
No more free parking, You now need an app and the payment is by the hour.
Before exploring the capital, we first took a look at Tyresta National Park. We spent the night with a few other campers and used the clean toilet behind the Naturum. Drinking water is also available! After a quiet night, we took a beautiful walk through the park! Highly recommended!
Very quiet for spending the night. We arrived in the afternoon and did a hiking route in the park, very beautiful and very quiet at night.
Great parking area at the national park with beautiful hiking trails. The parking lot was very full on Sunday afternoon, but it was quiet from the evening onward. We spent a very peaceful night with other campers.
Great spot in front of the national park… many different hikes of varying lengths.
Great place, as described in the previous comments. There was still traffic on the access road until 22:00. After that it was quiet. If possible, vans should not be parked lengthwise. Many park visitors arrive by car in the morning.
Highly recommended if you want to take a walk in Tyresta National Park. We slept here for one night and visited the park the next day for a vigorous hike! There are three clean toilets. It is also a very quiet place.
Absolutely recommended! Especially for visiting the national park and nature reserve! A small lake with a bathing area is only about 20 minutes away through the beautiful forest. The toilets also have water at night and are only a few meters from the free parking lot.
