Been here?
A large, quiet grassy parking area with room for about 20 vans and distant views of the sea and lighthouses. Payment is 20 NOK per hour or 135 NOK for 24 hours, made by machine. A rubbish disposal facility is now available, but there are no other services. Access is narrow, steep and windy from the west, with few passing places; the route suits campers up to 6.4 m.

Visited in early July, three motorhomes. Very pretty grassy field, little shade, but peaceful! The sea is 500 m away and serves as the horizon. In a region where campsites are very expensive and wild places are rare, we happily paid 135 NOK! Brand-new but narrow road; very large motorhomes should avoid it because of the bends.Translating
Great spot with a sea view. The road, however, was really narrow, with few passing places and low sides.Translating
Great place to stay. Plenty of room for about 20 vans of all sizes but please check the route appear and it’s very windy, especially if you’ve got a big motorhome. To confirm the price it’s 20 NOK per hour or 135 NOK for 24 hours payable by machine. Lovely distant view of the sea and lighthouses and very peaceful.
Wonderful, quiet place with a great view! We were completely alone here for two days and really enjoyed it!Translating
There is now proper waste disposal at the pitch. Nothing is neglected. I was completely alone here for two nights and enjoyed the view. Great value for money! I enjoyed the peace and walked all the way down to the harbor.Translating
Not a gravel lot, but a very beautiful grassy area. At the very back, there is a view of two lighthouses and the sea, with forest in front. Wonderfully quiet; at the beginning of September we were completely alone on the site.Translating
A very quiet and large place. We found what we were looking for in high season: simply peace and quiet. One point deducted because there is no other waste disposal, etc., but there is a great view of the sea. The price is 135 NOK for 24 hours.Translating
Quiet with no facilities, but good for those who just want peace and quiet. View of two lighthouses from the first parking space. Short distance to Arendal. Nice hiking area. Wartime fortress nearby, a 15-minute walk.Translating
Beautiful location with a good view! Very quiet at night. Plenty of room for large motorhomes too. Make sure to approach from the correct side!Translating
Superb view. There are two ways up to this place. With our 7-meter motorhome we chose the narrow road because of the sat-nav; it is better to go through the town, where there is a wider road. Lots of nature, ideal for hikers. Not all pitches have a sea view, but it is more than adequate for an overnight stay. No services or waste disposal. Please take everything with you, including rubbish; the forest is not a composting toilet.Translating
A reasonably good place. Quiet. The only facilities are the neighbors’ rubbish bins. Poor accessibility. At the far end of the site there is a view of the sea; otherwise no view. The price (120 NOK per day) is too high for nothing.Translating
Large parking area with a fantastic view if you drive all the way in. 120 kroner per night, no facilities. The place is great if you like walking. About a 20–30 minute walk to Kolbjørnsvik, where there is a ferry to Arendal. The ferry runs every 30 minutes. P.S. If you have a large vehicle, drive via Kolbjørnsvik, NOT the old Sandvigveien. There is a pub in Kolbjørnsvik that is open on Fridays and otherwise whenever it suits the owners.Translating
