11 Ernst-Böhm-Weg, 91257, Pegnitz
Been here?
A quiet trail parking area with views over Pegnitz, suitable for a peaceful overnight stop. It has no services, but a rubbish bin is available. The access is narrow and uphill; the correct route is via Raumersgasse, Am Brunnberg and Ernst Böhm Weg. Vehicles around 7m have accessed it successfully, and walking routes begin nearby.

We spent one night here. There was another camper and a few cars in the parking area. Nobody bothered anyone and we had a peaceful night. In the morning, a few walkers arrived and greeted us kindly. There is also a rubbish bin.
Absolutely quiet in January, probably also because the site is icy. We skipped the walk to avoid risking a broken bone. The street lighting is currently switched off. It is okay for a stopover near the A9.
Hiking car park, which is still well used at this time of year. Fine for recovering from a long drive, but no more than one motorhome should park there so that hikers have enough parking spaces.
Great for spending a night surrounded by nature. There is a very nice beer garden nearby. A 10-minute walk takes you to the panoramic tower, which offers a 360° view.
We stood here for one night as a stopover, very quiet and beautiful place and we were alone all night. As previous mentions, follow raumersgasse around and then turn up on Ernst Böhm Weg, google maps is wrong. NOTE: there is quite the uphill to this place and narrow streets but absolutely doable. A lot of mosquitoes.
Beautiful illuminated hiking car park. Lots of parked cars belonging to visitors of the nearby beer garden, which is open until 10 p.m. Access is somewhat narrow but okay. Spooky factor = zero.
Very nice site without any services. An MTB route starts directly here. It was very quiet and the ground is level.
Beautiful hiking car park without facilities or restrictions (as of April 2024). Access according to Google Maps is confusing because it does not account for the one-way system. Correct route: Raumersgasse - Am Brunnberg (north!) - Ernst Böhm Weg. It is possible to park level. Schlossberg observation tower is a 15-minute walk away and accessible around the clock. Beer garden in summer 300 m away.
nice quiet place. follow the road up before taking the road stated on the address description, and turn left to find the place.
Wonderfully quiet location; only a few people occasionally come by for walking, jogging or Nordic walking. We were there on a Friday evening. The car park is very spacious. At the beginning of the uphill approach, as already described, do not enter the one-way street; simply follow the road around the hill.
I spent two quiet nights here. Very little going on during the day too, apart from a few dog walkers, all of whom greeted us in a friendly manner. Overnight stays seem to be tolerated here. Otherwise it is also a beautiful place. You can park level, especially right at the beginning of the long narrow parking area. With patience, you can also stay farther back, away from the other two or three campers.
Great quiet parking place in the middle of nature. Only suitable for self-sufficient stays, with no bins or other facilities. As it is a hiking car park, there is more activity during the day; we were alone at night. Unlit, but houses are within reach in an emergency. We really enjoyed it there.
Super quiet, recommended. There is no rubbish bin, though. But well, that is a luxury problem.
