Quiet central area, faulty water

Actually a lovely, quiet spot. The booking system is well intentioned but poorly implemented. Since departing campers do not log out, all spaces remain marked red until 4 p.m. This also applies to the electricity meters. It creates unnecessary stress: are you allowed to park or not? Is the spot reserved or not? What a shame.

Nice spot in downtown Vreden. It is quiet, disposal facilities are right outside, and booking is for a full 24 hours.

We asked the operator to call us back by phone and email, but this was not done. The site plan cannot be viewed in advance. Therefore only 1 star.

The spot now costs €15, and we paid €1.90 for 1.9 kWh. The place itself was quite nice, very central, and not busy. I find the electricity system annoying: scan the code, then top up; payment via PayPal did not work. Otherwise it is okay, but in the dark I would rather put in a euro than spend 10 minutes trying through an app.

Great pitch that can be reserved in advance. We would like to see this more elsewhere too! Registration via QR code works perfectly. Charging is available right in town. In November we were actually the only ones there. Disposal in the morning worked well. A real asset for such a small town. The price seems moderate to us.

The pitch and service facilities are functional. The payment system is awful... two people managed it. The third drove away after many attempts.

We were here on 30 June 2025, arriving from Obelink. Space for our trailer was no problem. The service station is excellent. Prices are okay. There is shade under some trees, which barely hinder maneuvering. Satellite TV reception works. Thanks to the town of Vreden! P.S. About 200 meters away at the roundabout there is a great döner grill and pizzeria. Lidl and Aldi are nearby. Wi-Fi works too.

I put in 50 cents, but no water came out despite pressing the buttons. It was taped off and marked as defective.

We were here in May 2024 and gladly paid €12.50 per 24 hours. One year later, €14.50 is being charged—a very dynamic price increase. The electricity price is listed in euros per kW, though they presumably mean kilowatt-hour (kWh); someone clearly was not paying attention in physics class ;-) Very beautifully located site, modernly operated by Schmitz & Lansing GbR.

We had a quiet night here. Payment by scanning a code was very easy. The license plate is recorded by camera when entering.

We arrived at the site today at around 3 p.m. and immediately drove on again. The entire site was occupied by cars, even though an extra sign explicitly prohibited this, because of an event in the adjacent building. The operator does not seem to care.

Nice, very central spot. Many places are within walking distance, and you can also start bike tours from here. Winterswijk (Obelink), Ahaus, Stadtlohn/Gescher—all within an hour, and the Zwillbrocker Venn hiking area is 30 minutes away.

Very nice spot. Choose a green pillar, scan the code, and follow the instructions. Very easy. You do not need an alarm clock here; the church bells take care of that. ;-)

We stayed for only one night. For that, it was excellent. I thought check-in with the QR code was great. As mentioned, satellite reception is only available on the front pitches. We would gladly return.

Great pitch in a central location with an adjoining park for walks. Payment for the pitch and electricity is made via the QR code, offering PayPal, credit card, or direct debit. Disposal and Wi-Fi are also included. Everything is very well done here. Thanks to the municipality of Vreden! To everyone complaining about the QR code: this payment option is simply modern. And regarding the noise some people mention: it is next to a sports hall in the center of town, and that is perfectly acceptable—the pitch is not in the middle of nowhere.

Unfortunately, you now get only 50 liters of water per euro instead of the 100 liters per euro stated on the column.
