6530, Thuin
Been here?
This is a large car park in Thuin, close to the Belfry, tourist office, old town, restaurants and cafés. Vehicles over 3T5 or 6m are prohibited, and the access and one-way exit are narrow for longer vehicles. It can be quiet at night, but loud music from young people has disturbed overnight stays. The tourist office provides maps for walks through the town and suspended gardens.

Large parking area, but forbidden for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes and over 6 meters long.
It is simply a parking area with lots of cars. It was initially quiet later in the evening. Then two cars with young people arrived and played loud music until late at night. Not for us again.
Convenient parking close to the small town. The parking area is spacious, but at the beginning of the road there is a sign prohibiting trucks longer than 6 m. The one-way exit road really does not allow much maneuvering! Watch out with long vehicles.
We stayed at the edge and had a fantastic view. Close to the center, restaurants, and cafés. Directly by stairs, walking paths, and attractions. The downside is lots of dog droppings in the streets.
Access is rather narrow for vehicles over 6 m. We had barely settled in to sleep when we had to pack up and leave because a group of young people arrived to party.
