Bunbury Lane, CW6 9JD, Alpraham
Been here?
This small, sheltered hardstanding is a basic overnight stop for hikers and dog walkers, with no restrictions or services. Space is limited, the ground slopes slightly and manoeuvring can be awkward when other vans are present; a permanent caravan has recently occupied the area. Mobile signal is reasonable, dog walking is good, and some A51 traffic can be heard.

there was a caravan looking very permanent taking all of the space
A nice spot, not much room though and a bit of an awkward space if there are other vans.
Not easy to get a totally level spot, as it does have a slight slope and is not that big. Managed to reverse my 9.5m Overland Truck in, leaving a number of spaces for dog walkers etc. Mobile signal OK and good walking for the dog. Stayed one night on a Sunday. Can hear a bit of A51 traffic, but not too bad.
A very convenient stop for the night, far enough away from the A51. Easy walk to the canal.
It’s ok. Just for a night. Slight slant.
