Been here?
A high, peaceful lakeside spot with a flat concrete platform and impressive 360 views. Access is via 1km of very passable track, and the location suits quiet overnight stays and walks by the water. It can be windy and exposed, and nearby houses and road-side dwellings reduce the feeling of complete isolation. There are no services.

Very nice quiet spot right next to the water Dogs loved it remember to take your trash home with you and don’t spoil it for the rest of us
Had a lovely quiet time. Nobody on the road. A bit windy and exposed when the wind changed.
One kilometer of very manageable track to get there. Flat concrete platform. Superb 360-degree view. I stayed for two nights. The only drawback is that there are houses farther along the path and a house on the other side of the water, which prevents you from feeling completely alone. A van came to walk its dog, and a motorhome went down to the lower spot.
Extraordinary place, with amazing views.
Beautiful, quiet, clean place, a little windy.
Great place for wild camping. And remember always to take your rubbish with you so that we can enjoy places like this for a long time.
Idyllic spot, so quiet and peaceful, lake is beautiful. Spent one night here, no one else around - like others have said, best to keep it a secret so it stays that way!
Best kept secret in Portugal. Don't tell anyone, haha. My favourite place of all time, I come here multiple times a year
Spot completely to ourselves in early March, with a lovely view of the lake. The access road is really good and firm even in rainy weather. No services.
Top spot. Beautiful view. Beautiful walk. Accessible to all vehicles.
Very, very quiet location. Great for walking the dogs down to the barragem and river feeding it. But cold in the night.
Beautiful place with a lovely view, although several houses are directly in sight and fairly close. We drove farther north to the somewhat larger and even more secluded lake. If we had not already known the other place, we would have been very enthusiastic about this one too and stayed!
Made it here with 8m long 7.5 ton truck. But for sure is a driving skill test in a bigger vehicle. Hopefully the way out is also managable.
