Unnamed Road, 034 82, Kalameny
Been here?
Kalameny is a parking area beside a free thermal pool, but current works are causing constant construction noise and dust. The pool is described as small, greenish, muddy and crowded, with some dirt in the water. Motorhomes were recently charged 15€ for a day, or 5€ until the end of the day when arriving around noon. There are no camper utilities, and the toilets are in poor condition.

Honestly, it is currently not worth the trip; everything around the pool is under construction. You can still swim, but there is constant noise from construction machinery and dust flying around. The pool is greenish, muddy and not very spacious. The woman at reception is very unpleasant, and the parking fee remains high for a place that ultimately offers few facilities and little comfort.Translating
The parking area has no facilities for motorhomes. At the entrance, a booth attendant charges €15 per day. We arrived around noon and she charged us €5 until the end of the day. The site itself is under renovation; two excavators are dumping gravel right over the heads of people in the water. The pool is small, there are many people, and the water is somewhat dirty. They are working to improve the place; next to it there is a sauna, a changing room and a portable toilet.Translating
The thermal spring is worth a visit, but don't recommend staying there. Toilets are disgusting. No utilities for campers! Very busy till very late in the evening. The water was clean in the evening, but the next day at noon it was very dirty and cloudy so we decided to leave. The man at the entrance was very friendly, but the lady who was there the next day harassed us and was very unfriendly.
Lots of people. Lots of dust. Lots of alcohol and mess. Only for short camping trips. Otherwise, lots of people in the water and the water is cloudy and dirty. The toilets are incredibly dirty. That has nothing to do with the toilets!! And then there are toilets everywhere. After 7pm the cashier packed it up.
we didn't sleep there as it was full full of people (1st of may weekend) the terms look good, there's a chemical toilet, place is safe and organized you can pay via mobile (4€ / day till midnight) for a regular car
During the day parking cost 3€usual car/15€ mobile home. When you pay via Qr code, you have to pay 2 days. When pay on a parking, you get notice to stay to 10Am. Except toilet no facilities. Beatiful thermal spring-free and sauna-45e. During saturday night some locals came to make noise. Parking enough big for 15 campers.
We spent Christmas Eve night there, from December 24 to 25, 2024. There were a few motorhomes in the parking area. The parking area is covered with gravel. Near the small pond there is a changing room, which apparently did not used to be there. Generally, fewer people, silence and more peace in winter. Some rubbish—bottles and cans—slightly spoils the atmosphere. The water is lukewarm :) There is an atmosphere, but… the payment system is a bit rubbish. It comes to €24 per night.Translating
We arrived around 22:00 and there was only one other person here. We could park almost directly next to the pool. We stayed for a few hours and then left again, it didn’t seem like at this time anyone would check whether we payed for the parking. The water tasted like iron and is about 33 °C, when you enter in cold weather it feels warm, but after a while you start to feel slightly cold.
Thermal pond with parking. The advantage was that we could enjoy a warm evening bath. Smelly portable toilet. No drinking water. Overflowing rubbish bins. Price €8 until eight in the morning.Translating
No amenities. Amazing to have a hot spring 33°C. Parking was 4€ a day through an app! No places to change. Seems to be a late night hang out spot for EDM music enthusiasts
Car parking costs €4, counted from midnight; the next day it is another €4. A tent costs €4, but it was not available for purchase on the website. In the morning, around 8, a woman comes to check and collect fees. Quite busy, lots of people, and the pool was crowded; there are two toilets. I recommend taking the yellow trail to the castle ruins. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. Splashing, laughter and shouting continued until 3 a.m.Translating
Parking costs €12 for any size motorhome until midnight; after 12:01 a.m., you have to pay another €12. Twenty-four hours costs €24 for a lukewarm pool. Not recommended. The parking area turns into a party at night.Translating
Second time here. Still a great place but now it cost 12€/day so if you want to stay night its 24€ (if you come before midnight) easy qr code payment system. BUT the same lady still comes around 9am and you can pay by cash and I believe for her one day ticket is okay Parking lot was in a better condition than last summer. Friday night, big parties, noisy. In March but still like it.
