Trailhead parking, traffic noise

We stayed overnight in a camper, it is free parking and extremely close to trail head. Quite uneven ground and no toilets hence the 4 star. Overall slept well.

Free parking. We were not bothered by either the road or the hotel right next door. Perfect for starting hikes toward Lake Sorapis.✦Translating

A good parking area for doing the Sorapis route, but not for sleeping. It is narrow and very close to the road, where cars pass. It is also not level. In the morning, many people start arriving, and there is no privacy. For sleeping, I recommend going a little farther ahead or back, where there are better options, and in five minutes you can reach this parking area ready for the hike.✦Translating

I slept here for two nights to hike to Lake Sorapis. Even though it is beside the highway, the nights were peaceful.✦Translating

Great view with horses in the pasture and the trailhead nearby, but honestly, it was hell. Along the road, cars drive past so fast they shake the van, and sometimes they honk. Not ideal for resting. No services or bins. The spaces are sloped. Just a parking spot along the road. One small detail: the horses' bells.✦Translating

Suitable only for parking for the lake trail head. Too uneven to park on for sleeping and cars driving by shake the van with the wind.

The best location for the lago sorapsis trailhead! Right next to the road though and very unlevel ground.

Free parking in a beautiful location, overnight stay without problems, direct access to the Lago del Sorapís trail. The only drawback is that it is right next to the road and the surface is not very level, but the noise at night was not too bad.✦Translating

I’m giving it more stars because it is right at the start of the trail. It is sloped, so you have to arrive either late or very early; we arrived at dinner time. At night, most of the cars passing by honked to annoy those of us staying overnight, so I recommend earplugs and do not recommend it for light sleepers. There are some very cute cows.✦Translating

Very convenient for starting the route to Lago di Sorapis. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. and there was plenty of space, but it gradually filled up with campers. Keep in mind that it is uneven and cars started passing around 5 a.m.✦Translating

Great spot if you want to hike route 215 to Lago di Sorapis, which starts here. It is not level, but the area is slightly wider if you park farthest from the restaurant. Little to no traffic at night. We arrived late in the afternoon and slept well.✦Translating

We arrived at 6:00 p.m. to spend the night and do the trail the next day. There was plenty of free space, but none of it was level. In the morning it quickly fills with cars; by 8 there were no spaces left and people were parking much farther down.✦Translating
