Been here?
A large campsite with many leisure activities, including mini golf, an animal enclosure, a quarry pond and a beer garden. The Teutoburg Forest begins nearby, and children have plenty to discover, although the site can be busy with families and external visitors. General sanitary buildings are currently described as poorly maintained and in need of modernization, while Wi-Fi is available only around the beer garden. Some pitches are peaceful and shaded, but facilities can be far away.

We were delighted on our first visit, but unfortunately not on the second. The pitches with private sanitary facilities are excellent, while the shared sanitary blocks seem neglected. The animals and the miniature golf course are a real highlight for children. Unfortunately, there was no children’s entertainment at Easter; instead, even using the trampoline cost extra. The playground also urgently needs renovating.
We came here because of the good reviews. No Wi-Fi, the animals were kept in enclosures that were too small, and everything was just not quite right. We were terribly disappointed, and found €99 for two nights shockingly expensive for what we received.
The showers and everything else could use modernization. There is no Wi-Fi reception except in the beer garden area. My pitch was beautifully situated and quiet on a meadow, far from the animals and children’s noise. There is really a lot to discover at the site. I can recommend it even without Wi-Fi, although I need it for work. The animal enclosures also need better care.
The pitches are adequate, some under large trees, but the sanitary facilities are quite far away. Many children, including visitors from outside, because of the extensive recreational facilities. No water came from our washing-up station, and only cold water was available; there was also no lighting. The beer garden is very nice, with friendly service, but the food is like that from a fast-food stand. Despite written confirmation, no table had been reserved. Not good.
Beautifully situated site in a green area not far from Bielefeld. The beer garden is great!
Absolutely underrated! We discovered it spontaneously in the app on the way back. A dream for children: playground, football, and a small animal park with kangaroos. Wonderful beer garden, food at fair prices, and great pitches. A cassette toilet dump and sanitary facilities are within easy reach... really lovely here. Two adults, one dog, one night, and four bread rolls from the ordering service: €46. Arrival after 7 p.m. is possible by phone.
Very large pitches and a great beer garden! The sanitary facilities look awful from the outside but are great inside! Warning: dogs are forbidden in the lake!!! Another warning: the prices have changed: €32.50 for one night, one person, and one dog! Electricity, water, waste disposal, and sanitary facilities included.
Passing through for one night, we only got a poor-quality pitch: 50% soil and 50% unmown grass. It was also used as a passage by other guests on their way to the sanitary facilities. The bread rolls were not provided as promised and ordered at 8:30, but only at 9:00.
Great campsite for families with children. We stayed here for one night in early January while passing through, in the very wet weather conditions typical at that time. Despite this, the sanitary block was impeccably clean and warm, and we were personally welcomed and guided to our pitch by phone beforehand. We clearly recommend it, but for a longer stay!
Nice campsite. Super-friendly staff. We would come again. Cleanliness could still be improved a little.
