For anyone needing an overnight stop approaching Helsinki, this is a large sports-facility parking area, busy during the day with people coming and going. Quiet at night and free. There is construction work in the area, so it may be used for storing materials.
The parking duration has been reduced to 9 hours. Close to the road, but traffic decreased during the night. In the airport approach zone. Fine for one night. We did not find the toilets; the ones at the nearby beach were locked.
