Overnight lay-by, loud road noise

This is a wide hard shoulder suitable for lorries or campervans, available day or night without a stated stay limit. A grassy mound about a metre high separates it from the A40, while trees provide some privacy. The road is loud for much of the night, and a cafe opens from 7am-2pm, so its gate must remain clear.
