Clean, flat picnic area in the forest, set back from the road and easy to access. It is very quiet, with only faint road noise and some walkers or horse trekkers in the morning, particularly at weekends. Picnic tables and a glade for playing are available, but there are no services and mobile network coverage is poor or absent. Overnight stays are unproblematic for different vehicle types.

Ideal spot, we were alone, apart from what I think was the forest ranger, who passed through the barrier. Night accompanied by owls and waking to birdsong.

Parking in the forest. Very quiet for sleeping, regardless of the vehicle, with picnic tables (a rubbish bin is missing). Lots of mushrooms.

Great stopover, no facilities but so so peaceful. Arrived about 19:30, no one else there, had the place to ourselves. Complete darkness and silent. would definitely recommend.
