Unnamed Road, 66360, Caudiès-de-Conflent
Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
Quiet, scenic bivouac beside a small mountain pond, with grass parking that is slightly sloping and space for one night. A 500 m access track is somewhat rough but suitable for vans and light motorhomes. There are no motorhome services, but a picnic table, barbecue and dry toilet are provided; the dry toilet is currently in poor condition. The pond is not open for swimming, and the village is 30 minutes away on foot.

The spot is easy to access; after the road there are about 500 meters of track, accessible, with a dry toilet and picnic table on site. Unfortunately, the dry toilet is in a pitiful state due to the lack of consideration from some people, which is a real shame. Apart from that, the spot is very beautiful and peaceful by the lake, with the sound of cowbells.Translating
Very beautiful spot with a wonderful view and easy access.Translating
Very nice place, with a small lake below where swimming is forbidden. There is an area for barbecuing. It was very busy when we were there. Be careful, there are not many flat spaces.Translating
Extremely quiet and relaxing, with the sound of birds and cowbells. The village is a 30-minute walk away via a trail.Translating
Really wonderful; we were alone and isolated from everything. Absolutely perfect! Magnificent surroundings.Translating
Very quiet spot; the track is passable with an SUV.Translating
